Edit: On the inside title page of the book Escort to Berlin is another version of the scene above. The P-51D shown is coded as QP*F and was being flown by Maj. Winslow Sobanski who went down later on D-Day in the  P-51B “The Deacon”.

Hmmm, so my calculations tell me that we see some malcolm hood pics tomorrow (or no DD at all), and next week we get the update...

You shouldn’t have to. As most Luftwhiners have mentioned countless times, the P-51 won the war. Therefore, you should never be in a position where you’re on the losing end of any engagement.
