No big deal. Rowdyboot's cloud mod 16.2 is pretty sweet as it is. I am looking forward to seeing where this official cloud update takes us though. It is what it is!

Meh, having to pull the update last minute is no biggy for me. I was prepared to start the download when I left for work tonight so it would be ready to fly when I get home in the morning, but I can wait. It just goes to show that the team wont release a botched update if they can help it. Frankly, I admire that dedication and transparency from you guys. Y'all take your time, I'd rather have it RIGHT, than RIGHT NOW.

 

On the other hand, I got work tonight, only to find out we have a CRJ-900 that needs a new engine. So I'm glad I'm not distracted by wanting to run home to try the new update. It's bad enough I get distracted at work by these forums. :lol:

So, how's everyone doing?

 

It's pretty grey and miserable here, but I'm enjoying watching the clouds blowing past the window...

Pretty grey and miserable here too with a light dusting of snow overnight to make things look a little interesting.

 

I'm personally, for entirely selfish reasons, glad the update didn't come yesterday. I had a very long day at work and didn't finish up until 9 at night. So today seems like a better day for me!

I can actually see patches of blue sky amongst the clouds right now, though judging by the rate they are moving, it won't last long. There seems to be a hefty low planted right over the UK, so if the rain doesn't get us on the first attempt it can come around for another try.

Yeah we're into the dark, grey and miserable 6 months. At least it offers variation from the bright, wet and miserable 6 months of the other part of the year!

At least in your part of the UK that rain falls vertically...the stuff where I grew up, Isle of Lewis, is almost always horizontal freezing cold and moving at great speed till it hits you. Umbrellas are no good as the wind just mangles them :biggrin:

 

Edit...typical, I spoke too soon, it's cloded over here now

 

Edit 2...I was gonna correct the typo in the 1st edit, but cloded seems bang on even if just by accident :)

So there's one positive thing of beeing burned at work.

 

Just comming home from the shift and seeing there's no update but the post from Jason for tomorrow is already 20H ago?

 

The weather here (Taunus mountains)is quite foggy and little snowfall over the night...I don't see much from the clouds by starting the day at 0400 and coming home when it's already dark.?‍♂️

 

But I'm certain the team will do a superb job...keep it up
