Hello to everybody! Great work! Unfortunately I find it only this evening.

 

I was developing a sort of medal case to show progress useful for COD and BOS, it is developed in .NET

Criteria for the assignament are also very very detailed.

 

It is missing only the connection between the logs and the application, here few screens:

 

  

 

at the moment is usefull only for Luftwaffe.

If you are interested feel free to send me a PM. I would be proud to share my work.

 

Images are based on an old website about uniforms but I'm very interested in medals and uniforms and, if needed I can di something similar for russians too.

Looks very nice   It would be great to combine our works and implement your medals in the CareerGenerator. And if you make this for russians too it would be superb. I can't get to work right now, because tomorrow I will go on vacation for two weeks. But i am ready when i will come back.

Anyway I launched the exe and I chose English language (it is set to English by default anyway), but it's all in Russian..Is it normal? I restarted the program as asked. Should I install IL Commander and files in my IL BOS folder rather?

Thanks Zami. It is the same file I download I think too but the Readme.txt is in Russian so I don't know how to install it :-)

Here it is:

 

Instructions for use the program:

1) If the program can not find directory of the game "IL-2: The Battle of Stalingrad" in the window that appears, you will need to manually specify the folder with the game.

2) The program requires a simple registration. You do not need any confirmation through email, and other complexities. Username and password must be 4 characters long. Login desirable to use similar to what you use in the game forum for recognition.

DO NOT use the password you use in other programs or websites! And, in particular, do not use a password from the game!

3) Choose a side of the conflict and the type of aircraft. Click "Start a Career"

4) In the resulting window, select the campaign / stage, air unit / detachment, type the name of the level of the pilot and his photo. Date and place of birth, as well as the biography of the pilot are optional. The level of the pilot only affects the background to the prehistory of the pilot. Veteran will have more sorties and number of destroyed units.

5) Click "Next Day". You will receive an order to sortie. Carefully read the briefing. start the game and follow the instructions of the briefing.

6) After the sortie, click "Debrief" Optionally you can supplement the data of sortie with your descriptions. Click Save.

7) Points 5-6 are repeated until the campaign is completed, or your pilots are not killed or dismissed. Once the pilot finished his career, you can create a new, see paras. 3-4.

Decided to test this out.  I started a career.  Clicked next day.  Took the mission it said to.  Completed it, with 1 heavy shot down.  

 

I go to debrief, and it says "The report is not about planting information."  

 

What did I do wrong?

If you did exactly what the briefing said it must be a bug. Never happened to me. I suggest you fly again that mission.

 

Edit: Send PM to Warhamm about the issue so he can figure it out

I got it to halfway work, by launching the game from the cg app after the brief.  Did the mission, got killed.  The debrief screen was completely white with a textbox, where I entered "I got killed by AAA after getting greedy."  When I clicked save, I saw the rest of the information just for a second before it disappeared.  I don't know how to retrieve that info, but I will keep tinkering with it.  Edit:  I found it.

 

Do you have to shut down the game and restart it from the career generator app each mission?

No, just take mission from career generator and then start BoS any way you want. No need to start from CG. When mission is completed you can Alt+Tab or close BoS, start CG and debrief.

Tried it myself and photos are missing for VVS. It is probably a bug.

Ok. I noticed awhile ago that there were very few VVS pics. to choose from compared to when this first came out. Will stick with LW. until it gets sorted.

Yes. I did it on purpose. So, every pilot has an individual photo.

Looking good Warhamm! Your program is very usable with stock campaign missions which are mostly pretty entertaining in fact. Once everything is unlocked and chapters opened, this gives new life to it. It`s great to have different options.

Many thanks for the excellent work to Ansirial. Personally, I have not seen a better visualization of awards in any game or mod. I hope soon to see his work in PWCG and multiplayer projects that are likely to appear. But first we need to correct any inaccuracies with Soviet awards. And they are. Versed people have found a few and it takes time to gather all the information together and then fix it.

Thank you for the career generator but I have a slight problem.

 

I downloaded the latest version but can't remember the password that I used and it won't let me start a campaign, any ideas how to fix this issue?

Yep, that's how I play the new Summer Campaign, having a lot of fun in it. Thank's  a lot Warhamm and Ansirial. 

After I'm done with that, I will give PWCG a try.

No reason why they shouldn't coexist.  Choose the one that you like best or choose to switch back and forth.

 

As for integration, probably not complete integration since they come at the same thing from different angles.  However, borrowing pieces of PWCG is perfectly fine by me and Warhamm has been extremely supportive of my efforts.  In the end we make each other better while still offering options.
