I respect your opinion but you haven`t really followed at all what`s going on with this game, have you? We are getting summer/autumn maps this fall for example. It was the same with Zeus's map if I am not mistaken, they needed some time after the Map was finished to implement it in the QMB and FMB

At least not concerning my subjects. No one is expecting anything. I give critics when it is necessary and believe me, I`ve done so a lot regarding SP part of the game. You mentioned summer maps so I stated it is coming this fall. For free. There is some campaign improvements as well coming with them. Remains to be seen how those change the stock campaign. And Pat Wilson is working on BoS version his great RoF Campaign Generator. It will be a great addition for SP IMO. Edited September 15, 2015 by Bearcat

Never mind my pissed off attitude but this sim disappointed me from day one ... the same like Cliffs of Dover which only improved due to efforts of team fusion.

There really isn't any need for "fans" to go on another WWII forums to advertise a product that can now only rely on the modding community. We all have our favourites but for the sheer experience of flight and combat BoS is hands down the best IMO.

As a long time Team Fusion fanboy, past member of Air Combat Group and as one of the guys who pestered Jack of II/JG77 in to flying Cliffs when I was a member of that too... BOS is the most fun for me right now. The fun might not be as "consistent" because of MP server populations but it is more fun when the bodies are there and you can fly a solid sortee. EDIT: I think that if he structured his posts less like this: "This sucks and that sucks and this sucks and that sucks." And more like: " This sucks because this. This sucks because that. It still needs work without doubt but it has a ton of potential. I just hope it can be realised at some point.

I now see a full wol every night I'm playing US CST and by time I am home from work and can play the server population has tanked - maybe 5-10 players on the "normal" server... 0 players on every other... Saturday morning around 9-12AM US CST (I am at work at this time M-F) and you're lucky to get a spot on the WOL server.

If this crucial weakness is not resolved soon, the large consumer group of SP will move somewhere else. What will remain will be a small group of dedicated MP. Whether this is sufficient for the survival of BOS and its successors (if there are any), I would doubt it. The patience of the SP community has terribly been strained so far. I am surprised that there are still gamers who ask about the state of BOS. 1

It just seems like nobody has enough patience and maturity to wait. Practically finished means it isn't finished. If they haven't released it yet there is a reason. It isn't the big conspiracy people keep trying to make it out to be. 1

The summer and fall maps are being tested and tweaked along side the new "Early Campaign" which is also in testing and uses those maps. They come together. Just please continue to be patient and enjoy the I-16 and MC.202 we have already released. Jason 2

PWCG is coming, he has posted on SIMHQ, Jason also posted on this forum, if you'd payed attention then you would know about this. This game has not even been out for 1 full year yet, the original IL2 had very little content on release as well but with time and support the sim can continue to grow. Anyway where else would simmers go for a quality WW2 fix? You can go back to the old IL2 if you want a dynamic campaign etc other than that there is no competition. 2
