BlitzPig_EL Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Let's split the difference...Curtiss 75. Ah, a man of good taste.
=362nd_FS=Hiromachi Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I wouldn't mind seeing some video, even a short and simple, one just presenting that 110 or P-40. After all they are supposed to be playable in 6-8 weeks, so something more than pictures would be neat to rise the hype
sallee Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Ah, a man of good taste. And with a Finland map we'd have a good excuse!

After all they are supposed to be playable in 6-8 weeks, so something more than pictures would be neat to rise the hype I don't think they are supposed to be playable in 6-8 weeks. I read what has been posted so far to mean, that they will start releasing the first EA-BoM planes in July, and will likely do so one at a time, like they did with BoS. I think it is highly unlikely that all 10 planes will be available in July. But maybe I'm wrong. It would be nice with a word from the devs on this: Do you plan to release the BoM aircraft all at once or one at a time? (or maybe in pairs, which I personally think would be a great idea?)

Wild guess but I would expect planes like the Ju-88 to be the last released and maybe F2 or E7 plus i16 among the earlier. I think testing the new aircraft will be great fun but I am looking forward to the new maps just as much if not more.
Zak Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Sorry, guys, Bf 110 arrives a few weeks later, as well as P-40. And I really don't want to show unfinished content, so it'll be something else this time.
Feathered_IV Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I hope you can show a mods-on mode. SP desperately needs it. 5

6./ZG26_Emil Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 No offense to the i16 lovers but I am going to relish blowing them up repeatedly for days as soon as they come out....blame the old IL2 :D Awesome pic!
6./ZG26_Emil Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Well surprise, suprise! Thanks for the screenshot Zak. : Is it possible to rock the camera in BOS ? Could aid the community with the presentation of captures in game. May be a good thing. .. Noticed it's used in some advertising What do you mean rock the camera? Like camera shake?
Boomerang Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 What do you mean rock the camera? Like camera shake? Camera is Rocked, Rock Tilt, it's neither vertical nor horizontal but the camera is held on an angle.. Here is an example, see the background: http://il2sturmovik.com/ A family members meat and potatoes (income), was photography for many years, thats where I learnt' the term: Rock

kendo Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 A fresh doze of midweek summer dessert 2015_5_21__20_22_39.jpg That looks incredible! I had to examine this pic for a while to be sure it wasn't a real photograph! Can't wait for the summer maps to become available. It will be the biggest incentive for me to fly more.
Feathered_IV Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I'm glad that I-16 is flying in the summer because the pilot would freeze his whatsits off in the winter maps! Actually, I'd read that the wash of heated air from the nearby radial engine made some pleasantly warm eddies around the whatsits.

Blooddawn1942 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Great screenshot!!! This is heading in the right direction! Splendid!

Finkeren Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Excellent, WWII soviet functionality for the winter months, but now how do they tackle the nadgers overheat issue in the summer? Leave the manually operated landing gear doors just slightly open to let the air flow right into the fuselage and under the seat to cool the Balzac.
6./ZG26_Custard Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Leave the manually operated landing gear doors just slightly open to let the air flow right into the fuselage and under the seat to cool the Balzac. Drag would be an issue though
