Manuc Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 good effects, but too much lights on the cars and tanks at wartime... better is to reduce it
6BLBird-Dog Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 good effects, but too much lights on the cars and tanks at wartime... better is to reduce itI agree ,think lot of lights had slit covers in WW2 to stop the spread of the beam upwards directly downwards and outwards .The slit emitted a strip of light rather than the usual cone spread. Will it be possible to turn lights out for enemy proximity or once vehicles are attacked if set in the mission builder by possibly a trigger ?
Gort Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 No, no! Leave the lights bright to lure greedy pilots into a flak-trap!
steppenwolf Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 What's up with the Battlefield 3 artwork??
FlatSpinMan Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Guys In the video Loft mentioned that discussion of vehicle lighting would take place, and that there may possibly be the option of setting therm to 'blackout' in the ME.
Bearcat Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I wonder if you might be able to set a trigger for the black out so the vehicle lights would go out when you got within a certain range simulating the driver hearing the sipound of a plane approaching..
BMA_West Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 (edited) Very impressed after I almost skipped this live stream 'cause of night views and I never am able to see anything whenever light peters out in a ROF mission. However in this live stream not such a problem, on the contrary, it was comparable to riding front passenger in a car and constantly feel for the pedals or the wheel :O), really I compulsively felt the need to move the stick along while watching. Does this originate in the video rendering, different mission parameters or a different tuning of night sight in BOS compared to ROF? - I do mean the different visuals, not the urge to pilot LOL Edited September 28, 2013 by West

Hope not, else we'll never manage to nail the slimy little infantry worms

Which brings along the Q, how about snow blindness in this sim??
