No601_Swallow Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 When trying the SP campaign I get an error message: This mission is not available for your account. Anyone else got it? any fixes? Play the campaign missions OFFLINE! That is, start the game in offline mode.
Mags Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Great news, Zak! Thank you ALL for your hard work. Have a nice weekend!
pencon Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I will disagree with you on both points, but as you say that's a different story. I think I'll give it a miss. Sounds like a good addition to the game and I can appreciate the hard work involved in creating missions, But its just not enough to get me to play through the unlocks to get a winter skin or a removable headrest. but that's just me.... SD That's not just you, that's lots of people . I think this sim has a lot of hard work and awesome graphical and special effects . but it needs a much more involving campaign without unlocks . It should be so good that you WANT to play it , and not be forced to .
TP_Jacko Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 (edited) Yep offline it works and all looks very nice as swallow said a populated airfield. For me blows CloD away Edited November 28, 2014 by TP_Jacko
migmadmarine Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Nice to see Auntie Junkers, though I would be more than happy to pay to have her flyable. 1
pilotpierre Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Great stuff Veteran66, muchos grassy arse for your efforts and sharing.
reddog=11blueleader* Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 This is great news. Thanks Veteran 66 for your hard work. The game is going in the right direction.
ShamrockOneFive Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Very glad to see the Ju52 in development! It's a pretty crucial piece to the Stalingrad puzzle! Well done.
e345spd Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Ju-52. Fantastic news! Can't wait to have it in-game. Hope you'll consider a flyable version too. Those transport missions were surprisingly fun. Agreed, the larger planes have a great feel and particular challenges to keep flying, especially when heavily loaded.
SAG Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Great Job Veteran and thanks!! cant wait for a Russian Campaign!! :D
e345spd Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) (forgot something and can't edit) Something I forgot to mention: You will likely find any sort of commitment to weekly updates rather counter-productive. As an end-user of the software, I do appreciate it. However, re-compiles are time consuming, as are the bug checks to make sure new feature/fix A doesn't randomly break pre-existing feature/fix Z. I say update when you feel it's ready, your time is too valuable for constant creation of binaries that will likely need to be re-compiled for a small fix again anyways. Anyways, all updates are greatly appreciated Edited November 29, 2014 by e345spd
System87 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 So nice to hear we get to play with 48 players intead of 32. I really hope the next step will be 64 or even more
Original_Uwe Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Do the devs still require power ups be unlocked via stock campaign? Have full graphic options been unlocked? Glad to see the Ju52. I hope that the sum is son in playable condition so I can use Auntie Junkers.
Cognac Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Great stuff! (Just to say, I've just tried to launch some of Veteran66's campaign's missions. Unfortunately an error message:"#10020: This mission is unavailable for your account" Help!) Same problem for me.
Avimimus Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 So - how much money do you want to make the Ju-52 flyable?
Cognac Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 OK. I got the campaign to load in offline, but all I get when I try to start it is a panoramic view of the airfield, with objects moving etc. I can't get into my cockpit.
Jade_Monkey Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 OK. I got the campaign to load in offline, but all I get when I try to start it is a panoramic view of the airfield, with objects moving etc. I can't get into my cockpit. Patience, it's sort of a cutscene.

priller26 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) Strange, but I cant find the IC Game studios under the Progam x86 folder, am I looking in the wrong place? Is there somewhere else I should look? I did find under program x86the following: C/Program Files(x86)/steam/steamApps/common/IL2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\Missions There is no"Veteran" missions folder in the "Missons" folder... I did a direct steam download of the game, any help appreciated. Edited November 29, 2014 by priller26

I had the same problem when I manually placed the files. I deleted them and unzipped the download to the root BoS file as per the read me (that is easily misunderstood the way it is written) and all is well.

Extract the "data" folder into: "C/Program Files(x86)/steam/steamApps/common/IL2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad". That`s all. "Veteran" mission folder doesn`t exist before installing his missions.
priller26 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Unzip the files into the IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad main folder C:\Program Files (x86)\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad and read the readme I have read the readme a dozen files...if you read my ISSUE, you see, I cant find the IC game studio folder in Program x86, only in steam apps..
BlackDevil Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) Priller, just take the IL2 folder within the steam folder. From here on its the same. Ram did explain it. Don't you find the missions after unzipping into that folder ? Edited November 29, 2014 by BlackDevil

Urra Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) Missions look great but I'm getting slow down from 60fps to 10fps as soon as the yaks show up on the first mission...is there a memory leak or something? 990x at 4ghz. Dual 760 in SLI. Edited November 29, 2014 by roaming_gnome 1
zelil Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 any reason why when i click on the mission it says this this mission is unavailable for this account or some other BS like that
BlackDevil Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Because you forgot to use the offline modus.
Neil Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Ju 52...wait, that wasn't strong enought....JU52!!!! YEAH TANTE JU!!! Please make it flyable in the future!!! Fantastic!!Great Ju-52 !! Can't wait to try this!Fantastic Thanks Veteran66!!!!!!!! for amazing Job !!!!!!!!!! GREAT NEWS !!!!!!! Thx Veteran66 !!! I am ready to pay you Ju 52!! When the subscription is triggered?? Nice to see Auntie Junkers, though I would be more than happy to pay to have her flyable. Very glad to see the Ju52 in development! It's a pretty crucial piece to the Stalingrad puzzle! Well done. Agreed, the larger planes have a great feel and particular challenges to keep flying, especially when heavily loaded. I am so glad that the Tante Ju is becoming a reality to this sim! But, this is nothing compared to the entousiasm of the community for this transport plane. During so many years, I thought I was the only one to enjoy and consider flying transport airplane in a war simulation. Yes, I thought I was the only one... dreaming about a day when a transport airplane would be realised in a war sim. This IA tante ju is the first step, but the motivation of the community for this transport aircraft makes me so happy... Thanks guys, Finally I am not alone now! 3
smink1701 Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 why does the first mission have mission parameters if it's not playable?
Sokol1 Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Sure? Pictures of 1st mission: adult image sharing 1
