I find this very difficult to read and in this case there is for me no possibility to zoom or anything else like changing the order or the stack?!

Mouse wheel zooms.  It's not working?

No Zoom in Mini (and Micro) map. Only in briefing map (O).

I love this:

Notes
  • You can also use the ICAO\NATO phonetic alphabet to say the keyboard keys to press. For example, you can say "press alpha" to press "a" or "press bravo" to press "b."

A mate mentioned this was ok http://www.voiceattack.com/

You can try before you purchase also

This new command UI is just repaint of what we allready have in game. While it is fancy,it is still very simplistic and does not give me,as a zveno or escadrille leader, any thorough tactical possibilities. Please, just copy/paste radio command chart from old sturmovik and everything will be fine.We need:

1.Give orders separately to wingman,para,zveno,escadrill...

2.Attack orders must be diversified for air targets so I can ,as example, split my zveno to 2 paras, one attacking bombers and one occupying with escorting fighters

a)attack fighters

b)attack bombers

3.Attack orders must be diversified for ground targets so I can ,as example, split my zveno to 2 paras, one attacking AAA and one occupying with rest.

a)attack AAA

b)attack trucks

c)attack tanks

d)attack train

e)attack stationaries (parked aircrafts,ammo storages,hangars,buildings etc...)

4.Radio commands

a)request for landing

b)request vector to base

c)request assistance

etc...

This!

I agree this would make tactical flying in SP far more enjoyable.

So what about the voice of our pilot (?)...

or it will be only commands without radio communication?

Posted (edited)

+1 Brano.

Yoyo, our pilot already has a voice. But there are 2 big problems with it:

  1. As a player, you can't choose to talk or not. Our pilot "speaks" automatically and you can't avoid it. This is really unconfortable because our pilot gives order to wingmen even if you (the player) don't want to give it at that moment (for tactical reasons for example).
  2. You can't notice when "you" are talking because the pilot speaks automatically AND "our" voice is distorted as any radio communication. "Our" voice shouldn't be distorted, a clean (of slightly muffed) voice could help us distinguish whether you hear a radio communication or you're actually talking. The only way to know if your player is talking is by staring at subtitles (they could at least appear in a different color).

Hope devs could fix this!

Cheers,

Great news about the radio comms, looking forward to the update.

PS: I also think it should be in the top left corner.

Mouse wheel zooms.  It's not working?

No it is not this is only part of the screen I took!

For the commands for the wingman’s I did change all the keys of the actual commands and it works! But I am certain that the new one can be more diversified and easier to use, thanks for the future modification.

The QMB like the actual campaign the missions can be more divers there are a lot of missions possible:

1/ free intercept of planes of other side in a region. (Air superiority)

2/ meet bomber to escort from a point to a point. (Not from airfield to airfield)

3/ transfer from one airfield to a new one (should be a mission created when player change airfield with possible encounter of non-friendly!)

4/ change of mission during the mission! (From ground support to air combat or otherwise around).

And many other only imagination is the limit. :o:

Ditto here!!

My suggestion would be:

F1 Command menu on/off

F2 Command to wingman

F3 Command to flight

F4 Command to gunners

F5 Communication with ground control

Gestures are not really working, only if the other leader can see you.

campaign stats and XP calculations are indeed broken. I have not received any totals and the BF109G2 bar is just 774/1850 and has not moved all day today.

I submitted a ticket just incase no one else has done it.

Thanks Mastiff. I'm getting the points and progress but my flight time is a nice round 0 still.

Those are the camera commands, I don't know if it's a good idea to use them for radio communication.

Same here, except for one occasion, the only score received this end was AAA and light bogies. No flaming  enemy plane added to the scores, when shot down.

Landing well on the completion of a sortie, was showing me the orange crash landing icon at the end, (where there was no plane damage? )

Flight time did not alter today for myself either FSM

I'd settle for one key command:Anyone...HELP- I'm getting clobbered down here!"

Sorry for inconvenience, pilots, but we actually have some issues with counting mission completion. We'll fix everything this week and we'll try to get all you earned points back to your profiles.

Does this mean that the XP gained for missions during this bug will be applied to my various aircraft once the fix is in place or is that XP simply gone forever? Thank you.

I think it was on the server side,  there for no update for us end users.

It's still messed up. I just shot down a bf-109 (credited) and an already damaged He-111 that still had its red target marker active. I broke it into pieces and the target marker went off and the 'Task Completed' message instantly appeared. That was MY kill, right? Not credited!

I have just finished a mission where I got credited of 2 heavy planes shot down when there was only one present, thanks. The campaign results are definitively bugged! :o:
