Rodolphe Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) ... Thank Matt, I've rapidly launched RoF, fiddling the Object Visibility slider and it has indeed an influence on the type of objects that could be observed from above. Just started a quick mission, the Slider moved from 100 to 10 %, and basically all the buildings, bunkers and tents are removed from the map, though vehicles like trucks and AAA's could still be seen from altitude. These vehicles could have activated triggers that keeps them visible. ?? Don 't know much about the FMB. Though I was one of the first Westerner to buy RoF ! I was in Moscow during the release time of the game, Unfortunately I haven't play much with RoF lately . Cheers ! ... Edited September 4, 2013 by Rodolphe
Matt Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Entities are still displayed even with low visibility settings. Those are units with AI, like trucks, trains, planes, AAA, artillery, balloons etc. All other objects will become unvisible very soon. The planes on the ground are without AI in BoS, so they are also affected by this setting. This has been a request for RoF for years, to have planes as ground-objects without needing an AI entity for that, because there's only a certain number of AI units you can have during a mission and they affect performance alot.
