hm, maybe it's blocked for tech tests until the exact time they start broadcasting. password may be removed by 1600 GMT

Same here, I'm on a iPhone and have the TWITCH app but I can't watch the channel, it asks for a password. I received the invitation through the usual newsletter but nothing is mentioned about a password.

No need for that, just do Wolfram alpha. I've started using it an unfair amount because it *will* tell you what you need to know, whether that's the imaginary component of a complex equaiton, the population of a city or converting GMT to AEST.

BACK ON TOPIC.

 

I'm looking forwards to seeing the F! Especially the stall behaviour, the LAGG was done to perfeciton, especially the way it tipped back in after recovery! If the F is done to the same detail it will be mindboggling.

 

The other thing, and it may not be ready to show to the public yet, I'd like to see is how deformation and disintegration will work. I saw that the plane itself doesn't explode (yet?), which is nice though somewhat unrealistic for plunging into the ground. I've always hated how in Il2 your plane would just explode and ruin what was an amazing crash, ROF solved that with the whole perishable pilot, invincible airframe thing. To see wings shred off, due to the hugely higher speeds, and not pop apart like in Il2 would also be a welcome change.

The aircraft shown was Yellow 8 of 9. JG 52, right? Does anyone know who piloted that aircraft at that time?

Btw, lesson learned for next time: The Russian live streamed seemed a lot more stable and smoother than Twitch's...

Friedrich was awesome, best looking 109 in any game so far! Well done. Sounds were good too, even if i would like them to be littlebit more different than CLOD ones...onboard sounds lacks bit of bass or "deepness", something like that currently IMO. But still good.

Twitch stream always starts to stutter or skip periodically. The Russian stream was stable however the framerate was a lot lower and the quality worse.

Obfw. Leopold Steinbatz, an Experte of 9./JG 52 flew a very similar Bf 109 F-4 "gelbe 8" at that time.

Yes, on june 23, 1942. Killed by russian AAA after his 99th kill. Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub und Schwerten awarded posthumously.

Too early for BoS?

It was great! oh man that F4 looked fantastic, best looking 109 ive ever seen in a sim, the lighting on the models is superb.

Though as great as the feed was, what was even better idea was getting Jason on TS in a Q and A, i dont know if he can do that every time and i dont expect it, but it was great listening to all the questions and answers.

 

You can sense of a community building.

I've never been partial to German fighters, but I must say that Friedrich looks insanely nice. The reflections are beautiful!

 

The effect that Jason said was paralax near the ground looked to me to like drifting snow, like one of the commenter said. It would be very neat if it is, because it certainly made it look very, very cold outside! The map with the low sun and the atmospheric effects are gorgeous!

I agree, but I do think that Clod looks very good but just in a different way.  Im just glad I live in an age where these sims can look so convincing!

Outstanding.... !  It looks like the tires are in snow even though they are on concrete..  Do you think the cockpit shake would be as pronounced IRL considering the way the body involuntarily kind of cushions the eyeballs .... It looks great though.. Can't wait for the finished product.

Beautiful stuff, Im craving this new Sturmo like never before. Nice 3D, nice materials, amazing cockpit

My only statement, globally, is: maybe the snow (around the plane and in the runway area) is too clean and white. Gasoline, vehicles and personnel should have Made it quite dirty.
