=J13=Serenity Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) Hello Another season of Interactive War is over. RED SIDE IS VICTORIOUS!!! Next season will begin after one week This week will be used to improve mission and organization. This time our plan was to destroy all warehouses in sector B to make sure there will be no attack in that sector. Fighters where paroling in sectors B,C and Enemy airfields Zutovo and Safronovka. Ground attack airplanes made recon if force in sectors C and B. As the result all warehouses in sector B were destroyed and threat eliminated. Fighter group RFF encountered enemy fighters over Abganerovo and retreated. Fighter group AlexVV fought Germans until the end of the battle and did not allow them to obtain air superiority. Also all enemy aces were finally killed Ground attack airplanes lead by Kirill destroyed everything in C and B, encountered enemies in sector C and retreated. Fighter group lead by Lucas was paroling near Safronovo in order to intercept enemy bombers. Eventually they were attacked by German fighters and retreated. My fighter group encountered enemies over Abganerovo, destroyed one Bf109, was attacked by enemy group, retreated, climbed, attacked Germans from above until they escaped. Later we chased one Ju88 all the way to Sfronovo, but decided not to break the rules like Germans did last mission, and turned away. Germans managed to destroy our first line of defense, but their tanks were destroyed by our second defense line, which was deployed at the beginning of the mission. We encountered some lags on the server, but most likely they will be fixed. I want to thank all the participants! Edited July 24, 2016 by =J13=Serenity 1

216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Fighter group lead by Lucas was paroling near Safronovo in order to intercept enemy bombers. Eventually they were attacked by German fighters and retreated. To shed light on this story, we didn't actually retreat After a long way to the target, our group of four set up a patrol at medium altitude at the airport's vicinity to locate and stop enemy bomber activity. Thankfully we were in good company - Jordan, Nocke and Papa Bear chatted the flight away which made the long trip very entertaining. About 45 minutes in, we spotted three Bf-109s below us, probably beaconed here by our presence. Without losing our cool and holding an altitude advantage, our group engaged and within seconds a Bf-109 went down in flames, with another being critically damaged. It went on to land at Safronovo but we let it be. The third one disappeared in thin air, or so we thought. Skip some 15 minutes which we spent climbing and one of us spotted a single contrail coming at us. Four against one, it was easy. The brave lonely Bf-109 attempted to engage, but we manoeuvred out of his initial attack and set ourselves up for offensive action. Noticing the bad situation, the Bf-109 disengaged for a while. Jordan and I decided it was time to start going back but the Messer had to be dealt with, so Papa Bear and Nocke were sent home in a pair while we stayed behind to handle our assailant. In a very strategic fight that mostly consisted of inching closer to each other while trying to get altitude without actually engaging, we found ourselves beyond 8000m. It's a nice view up there! Since nobody was making a move, our pair also started to go home while carefully watching the Bf-109, which sure enough came back to engage. Due to a manoeuvring mistake on my part, I took some fuel tank damage, but Jordan was a few metres away from dishing out revenge. After that all parties went home without bothering the other. I crossed the frontlines and put down my Yak-1 in an inactive airfield near our positions, sustaining damage to the left wing but otherwise the airframe is reusable. Jordan, Nocke and Papa Bear returned safely to Voroponovo, with a total tally of one enemy shot down, one damaged for one damage of ours. Thanks for leading the group Serenity, looking forward to the next one 2

707shap_Srbin Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Spectre mate - IN WAR have 1 week breakout, for rest and recuperation It is time for suggestions, by the way.
707shap_Srbin Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Updated a top post. Stats will be added later.
707shap_Srbin Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Finally, air fight over Stalingrad suburbs reached apogee. When saturday sun came up, soviets agressively started their attack. They deployed 2nd defence line in sector C, and sent a group of Pe-2's to attack blue depots in sector B (Gromoslavka). Thus Red side was going to cut off all german offencives. Same time, they deployed Il-2's to attack blue defences in C. With so much with their numbers (when mission started, it was 9 vs 26 pilots), Red side was able to sent some free hunters group, and escort all assault and bomber groups with heavy fighter escort. Blue side called all avialable fighters in the air. Hard and furious fights emerged. Simultinously, an "ad-hoc" group of Ju88 and two He111 were used to destroy Red defence in B sector. After an hour of relentless furball of B and C (and even on the way back to Zhutovo and Safronov blue airfields), blue fighters had to replenish their losses. And in this time, Pe-2's were able to destroy last depots in Gromoslavka, disabling possibility to deploy blue tanks in B sector. Blues momently reacted, deploying tanks in C. All survived fighters and all bombers were sent to attack enemy defence line in C (Plodovitoye). Under heavy pressure by soviet fighters, in the heat of hell of AAA fire, Luftwaffe was able to destroy first line of soviet defence. Now, they had to disengage, rearm and refuel. But it was too late. Tanks pushed forward, and were destroyed by an accurate fire of soviet antitank ZiS-3 crews. With so many fighters on their side, Soviets were going to pay back to most successfull german Jagd Rotte - 1stCL/Werner and 3.IAP_Cassius. A flight of high-altitude MiG-3's were deployed with a "free hunt" task, and personal order from Soviet HQ - to find and destroy. And this time, VVS fighters were successfull - outnumbered, out gunned, low on fuel and ammunition, two experten were cought while disengaging from sector C, where they took a heavy toll on Red aircrafts. Trapped from abover and rear, they had no chance to escape and were both shot down. So high was the intention to hunt down those two experten, that after their destruction, victorius soviet pilots received a special prize, personally from Stalin - two vagons of 1st sort alcohol, named with that barbarian word - "Pervatch" Also, great victory over german aces was depicted in Soviet frontline newsreel: Nonetheless RED won this ToD also, Blue side showed its strength, agility and a will to fight. Even under heaviest pressure, Blues could attack and strike back, inflicting heaviest losses to VVS. Gentlemen, this week we have a rest. IN WAR will be continued after a week. This is a time for suggestions. Themes, in discussion now: -adding a pair (2) fighter-bombers (Bf109E-7 with 4xSC50 versus LaGG-3 with RS-82 / 2xSC50), avialable to deliver from rear reserve airfield to front airfield on demand. -restriction of reserve aircrafts to a half number of front aircrafts. -adding artillery support of tank attack, adding a short-range artillery aviareconner/corrector (Bf110E-3 vs Il-2 KR), with the mission to stay close to enemy defence line to have artillery fire more accurate. Any suggestions, gentlemen? Once more, great thanks to all participants. Hope to see You in next Tour of Duty! 1

=J13=Serenity Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) Hello Another episode of interactive war is over This time our plan was to Bomb enemy warehouses in sector C (Aksay) and B (Gromoslavka). First flight consisted of 9 Pe 2 divided into two groups of 5 and 4 airplanes. Take off and approach to the target was good, but attack itself was a massacre due to intense AA fire. Second flight towards sector B ended with similar results. 5 Pe 2 had to break through extremely accurate AA fire and suffered casualties. Fighter group (RFF) patrolled sectors B and C and stopped 2 enemy attacks on soviet warehouses. Fighter group on MiG 3 (AlexVVV) patrolled the whole south sector of front line at high altitude and found enemies at 9000m. Engaged, shot down and damaged some enemies but suffered casualties as well. Fighter group (ROSS_Pups) provided cover for both bomber runs. Fighters reported heavy lags from enemy side. Also today we were reinforced by two pilots form CSAF (CSAF_Shephard and CSAF_Tistar). Both pilots did a very good job by keeping formation and dive bombing on Pe 2. It was a pleasure to fly with you guys. Looking forward to see you again. Edited August 5, 2016 by =J13=Serenity
707shap_Srbin Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 (edited) AAR for 1st Week of 3rd Tour Of Duty: Keeping in mind a success of Red side on battle of september and october, Blue side was going to pay back with full power, to break a combat in favor of Blues. Pause was used by both sides for gaining new pilots and resourses, and in the beginning of november, Battle raged with full scale. During the preparation phase at friday, blue side was attacking frontlines depots in sector B and C and, despite losses to enemy fighters, gained limited success. In the same time, Red side made same attacks. First wave of 9 Pe-2's wiped-out Blue warehouses in sector C, destroying 5 of 6 hangars. But the second attack of 5 Pe-2's on warehouses in sector B failed completely - Blue side defended its critical poinjt with all forces. Some Pe-2's were shot down by fighters, some- by AAA, and survivors were not able to hit hangars, missed completely. Railroad station of Blue was not raided by Reds, and Red Railroad station was a target for lone Ju88. Escort fighters were outnumbered, and lonely Ju88 was intercepted and shot down by soviet fighters. But full scale operations were to follow. On the saturday, all hell broke loose in Sector B. From the beginning of day, almost all aviable aircrafts of Luftwaffe raided Zety. Formation of Bf110's, seconded by some Ju87, with full scale escort were able to destroy completely all AAA positions in and around target. 1st defence line was seriosly depleted - only revetmented tanks left alive. In this point, Reds launched 2nd defense line, wich was attacked when Luftwaffe (rearmed and refuelled) launched 2nd raid. Also, Blue HQ was very intriqued with new feature: Artillery shelling, and experimented with it. When assault aicrafts were disengaging after initial attack, artillery spotter was launched. He was escorted by fighters. After shelling started, Bf110 recoon was spotted by a pair of soviet fighters. One was shot down by Bf109's immideatly, but second was able to cought a Bf110 with pants down and kill it's pilot instantly. In same time, soviet command deployed Pe-2's and Il-2's to destroy german defence line in C sector. Furious air battle raged, and attack was beaten-off. But Pe-2 could destroy last Blue warehouse in Aksay, meaning that Blue would not be able to deploy 2nd defence line. Half of 1st defence line was destroyed, and Luftwaffe HQ suspected next attacks. Recoon was sent, but it showed no T-34 advancing from Plodovitoye. Blue HQ didnt knew, that scale of fight over B (Zety) was so high, that managed Red HQ to cancel its planned attack in C sector. At that time, 4 Ju88's were sent to soften Red positions in sector C - but this ill-organised raid was slaughtered by well-trained AAA crews, who shot down all exept one Ju88. Only =FSG=Ser was able to take it back to his airfield in his badly damaged aircraft... And when almost all was clear about Zety, happened a miracle (or mistake - from what point we may look upon). Germans were early to deploy their tanks, but missed the point when it was need to launch an attack. German tanks were standing almost a 1 hour and did nothing! Only when mistake was realised, they were moved forward. But too late! If that command were called just 5 minutes earlier... In furious aircombats over Zety, losses of both sides were very heavy. Several times, outnumbered Bf109's were not able to defend their assault kamrades, and pair of Ju87 and two pairs of Bf110 were intercepted and shot down. Messerschmitt pilots were able only to revenge for falled kamerads, not to prevent their death in the hands of soviet fighters. Direct losses of resourses during this fight: VVS RKKA: 60 points Luftwaffe: 65 points. Now, IMPORTANT INFORMATION: When mission started, it was found that there are much more pilots then there are places on the server. Remember: it is 20 pilots per side, 40 in total. That is why is so important to register Yourself and/or Your squadmates in this >>> Registration Table. <<<< Registred pilots will have a priority, if there will be > 20 pilots per side in the mission. Also, for Blue pilots: During final hour of battle on Saturday, there was a situation: two flights of Bf109F had landed almost in the same time. Last for land were 3 Bf109F-4's of I./JG1 - all 3 fighters were in 100% condition. But when they were trying to start again, they found that their fighters were already taken by other pilots. That was somekind of frustrating. So I want to ask You gentlemen - if You had lost Your aircraft in the air, or damaged it on the landing, please check if You need to deliver an aircraft for Yourself from rear airfield. Yes, usually there is free slots in fighter roster (fighter pilots are less then 14), so there is spare aircraft. But Yesterday all fighter aircrafts were busy, and thet mean no spare aircrafts - to get back to combat in case of loosing an aircraft, You need to deliver an aircraft for Yourself. Thank You for understanding. I dont blame anybody, but I want to avoid such situations in the future. Edited August 7, 2016 by I./ZG1_Panzerbar 2

707shap_Srbin Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 No P40s??Yes, reds dont want this plane, same as lagg.
=J13=Serenity Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Hello Here is some information about lags in multiplayer games Secondly, many of you already know about the Network settings in the game menu. This is where you can apply the most effective parameters for received and sent traffic. This section of the Settings is specifically useful in these two cases:- you have a very fast unlimited internet and you’d like to take the best from the game; also the position of planes around you will be shown as precise as possible- you have slow internet and connection is not reliable, but you want to play with comfort and enjoy playing without “warps”, “teleportations” and so on. How it works if settings are incorrect:1) You have slow internet connection, but in-game settings are for fast connection. This causes other planes to slow down and your own plane is not controlled smoothly.2) You have fast internet, but your in-game settings are for slower internet. That causes all planes around you seem to be flying oddly slow. How it should work when set up properly:a) Find out the speed of your internet connection (use this test, for instance; EU server - Dublin, US server - San Jose);b) Divide this number into 4;c) Put the result into the Downloading speed field (if the test result is 10Mb/s or less, put 1 or 2 into the settings);d) Uploading speed may stay default which is 1Mb/s (but you may down it to 256kb/s is your uploading speed is limited for some reason)Considering the listed principles, you may experiment with network settings. But what you must keep in mind is that you should not underestimate or overestimate your internet connection quality.
=J13=Serenity Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Hello Another episode of Interactive war is over. Soviets had some advantages claimed from previous battles, and Germans had to fight desperately. As the result, despite destroying all soviet warehouses, Germans had nothing to attack sectors with. Germans said that Russian warehouses had rubber roofs and were sending bombs back to the sky. Preparation stage: 5 Pe 2 bombed German railroad station. Due to incorrect wind correction all bombs missed. Second flight of 4 Pe 2 was more successful and bombs landed withing the target area. Fighter group ROSS were paroling Soviet warehouses, encountered enemy forces and despite heavy lags did everything they could. Fighter group RFF after escorting bombers during first flight diverted towards warehouses to provide cover for them, encountered enemies as well. Action stage: Two bomb runs towards German warehouses in sector B (Gromoslavka). Group of 6 Pe 2 bombed warehouses from level flight with individual targeting. All bombs missed. Second flight o 5 Pe 2 was more successful, some bombs hit the targets. Bombers were attacked by enemy fighters and suffered casualties. One of the Pe 2 pilots Xarann managed to destroy warehouse and shoot down enemy fighter with his rear MG. All fighters were escorting bombers, engaged enemy, destroyed some of them but lost some airplanes too. Germans bombed soviet warehouses in sector A
