Fern Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Here's an idea. Why not get rid of allotted amounts of aircraft every player has and just designate certain airfields an infinite amount of planes. But these airfields would hold the prized F4 for Germans/ Lagg3 with 23mm for Russians. It would give more importance to holding your key airfields and push the front further to hold the highly prized fighters.

Talks and voting took more than 4 hrs but 90% of the topics, players requests, propositions were discussed. By decision of the majority I can`t reveal changes in the next war until they will be working well in the script. We need few weeks to fix the bugs, create the new script, rules and as final point, start the new war. I hope you understand that. But what is most important thing I can assure you that we will use some of the ideas from this topic. :D But lets move to the most important part of my post. During our meeting we were also debating problems like camping over the bases, lonely suicidal attacks, vulching, chutekilling and bombing the aprons. We noticed a bigger concern about the chutekilling issue, planes limitations, experience, etc. And now we need to be clear in this area. Claims, demands from the people who are not doing ANYTHING for the project are just inpolite. We will not accept changes which may transform this server in to another arcade kindergarden. The main idea of the online war for the experienced players will be kept as long as we run this project. This is the LuftGangsta team statement. But we are not stubborn assh%1es... and we still try to find a solution whenever the problem will appear. So I asked my friends will they accept recruiting new TAW builders to our team and they definitly accepted that!!! Fresh ideas and different point of view brings always good things. Stagnation leads to auto-destruction. So if you want to have the impact on the campaign, rules, etc. you need to help us with creating the TAW. Writing a post with requests or demands cost you 5 to 10 minutes. Coding, creating the www, building the maps, object layers takes a lot of work hours... At the moment we would like to ask for help with - creating the graphics for www - creating the www sites - map building - any other support which might be helpful in your opinion (except coding) All is in your hands guys We are open for cooperation and count on your positive feedback!!! If possible, add forward AA batteries around towns and popular navigation points. This would light up a single bomber and allow defensive fighters to spot and take them down b4 the suicide stuka makes it to their target. In my mind sporadic long range AA (88s and what not) at least 15 to 20 km away from the front line in strategic spots would make spotting and intercepting lone bombers easier and after getting shot down the pilot either wises up or attacks aa. We are a small, two man squadron and have no time or skill to help build the campaign or website, but we look forward to participating. The aircraft limitations were or biggest concern. Unlimited Stukas but extremely limited fighters felt odd. I like flying escort for my buddy who likes to bomb. It seems odd that i have to limit my ability to escort my friend. Regardless, we enjoy the server and appreciate all of the work everyone puts in. If there is any other way we can help wed be glad to, we just don't have the ability to code or run the website.

It feel so dull flying on other servers without long-term goals without motivation to keep rigour and self-restraint to get a plane safely on the ground. I know that you are trying to make a "brand" and keep us starved on purpose, but don't do it!

Hi, there is progress Most of the time we spent on debugging and fixing bugs in the script. I also had to find workaround in case DServer doesn't change the map after end of the mission. We started working on new Moscow map but unfortunately many airfields on it are not designed for multiplayer. I have asked developers about it. New system of plane set is implemented and we are testing at the moment. Manual is being written. Variety of mission time added. Mission may start just after the sunrise or end before sunset. There are few things we want to add, so we all will have to wait a little bit more Hey Kathon thanks a lot for the reply, me and a lot of other TAW fans (YES, fans ) are really eager to get back into the server, its pretty much the only server worth flying on for me (and some others), we were discussing about the possibility of implementing having a test server that just runs the new TAW build while there is a normal server running the OLD build so all of us can enjoy, if its about costs of having a second server, perhaps you could setup a donation page so that some of us can contribute (id do it in a heartbeat), please consider this as a possibility and let us know on another, more TAWhollic topic, how long do you think might take? a week, two or three?? im dying heeree Thanks Again! Say all I have is 4x F2s, and I crashed them all during take off. Does it mean I'm done with the entire match, since I'm out of planes to complete combat missions?

Combat mission is a "LANDED"/"IN FLIGHT" sortie 5 minutes long with AK/GK or at least 15 minutes long without any AK/GK. DITCHED column (A/B/C) means ditched planes will be resupplied after A-one mission, B-two missions, C-three missions. To fly transport plane take 100% fuel and no bombs. Capturing enemy airfield is possible only by transport planes. Cannot wait for the campaign to start again, I only flew a couple of missions on the previous one and really enjoyed it, especially plane and loadout limitation forcing to play smart, and ensure historical accuracy. I just noticed something, watching videos from the player on the German side, which might be a small error, or an unfortunate forgetting : removed headrest seem to be unlocked on German 109. As a lot of loadout are restricted for historical purpose, which is great I find it really disturbing that this one is not. Suggestion : remove it from all 109, and add just one 109F4 allowing this modification, only unlocked after all other planes are filled up, representing what removed headrest was : a very rare experten modification Edit : same thing applies to glass headrest on the G2, 1943 modification which have nothing to do here.
