Yeah, it will be definitely interesting to see feedback. What I have seen so far in russian topic is encouraging.

The "Normal" Campain is very important in each COMBAT sim - campain of one pilot with medals, stats ect. not jumps from sides, planes ....

 

 

Id like see this kind of campaign from RoF in IL-2 BoS also.....

The program is like PWCG, but it is much easier. In particular there is no missions generator , and used the imaginary relationship with the standart BoS campaign, which is actually a missions generator. 

 

Installation:

1) Download.

2) Unrar it in any folder.

3) Run IL2Commander.exe.

 

Security:

 

Requires a simple registration. Don't need any confirmation via email and other garbage. Just enter in the appropriate fields username (preferably nickname from forum for awareness) and password of 4 characters or more. In no case do not use passwords that you use in other applications or websites.

 

Program is still in developing, so bugs etc.

i enlisted as a german pilot and before i started my first mission already have 2 kills.

after first mission i switched to this program, updated data and nothing happened.

 

maybe i dont know how it works. thanks for help

ok, my firsts impression (excuse my poor English language).

 

Once extract in a folder of your choice, you should go to the Settings and change the path to your il2 exe.

 

After that, create new carrier of your choice, once happy with your pilot, select "Next Day" and it will generate a window which guide you to the specification off the next quick battle you have to play (weather, plane etc...).

 

The following missions will be from the campaign and the window will tell you wich one to play. i think the first is to discover your plane)

 

Launch the game and play as required the quick mission with the given specifications.

 

after that, you can enter your results manually (it seems the update stat did nothing or just update the best pilots stats to the left, do not know).

 

It works like that, even if it's not the way to go (trying to figure).

 

 

One "bug" on the screen below, the button Under my name on my book (the one to disconnect) is still in russian.

 

 

So, what i think of it ?

 

It reminds me il2 Stab, more a "one note" to keep your missions in memory than a campaign carrier as far as i see it. the fact we should enter manually the results is the big thing i would love to be changed if the game permit it.

Well done  tool and userfriendly, First step to upgrade SP experience, hope it pave the way to immersion for the future.

This program is very rich in features and details, there's even a section where you can chat to other people playing the campaign. It works very well with the existing structure, there are no missions generated within the program, it just creates a scene and keeps records in a very charming and thoughtful way. 

 

And it looks like you can "unlock" risque pics of ladies from the 1940's LOL!

All right. this is how it works. But first mission can be any.

Its would be possible only if BoS developers will make simple log file with results after you complete your mission. Then I would read it.

I make some background to the pilot before Stalingrad battle. Cause in game you flight as Schwarm leader. And Schwarm could not be trusted to a novice pilot. Russian experienced pilot have 10-20 sorties at the begining of the campaing. German veteran 50-350 sorties.

I flew a few missions with JG3 and program works fine. You have done a good job, I`m enjoying it

So Im a little confused.  I flew 2 missions in which I bagged 1 stuka each and some AAA.  I tabbed out to the app, and then what?  If I click on my name I can select my own results in and type in a brief, but I though this was supposed to gran that info for me..  Is this app the same thing as me just making stuff up in a word file after I fly a sortie?

But is there any chance to have the Russian text in the 'newspapers' translated into English in order to increase the level of historical immersion ?

I know some might see this as somewhat 'anal' but historical news does act positively on our immersive understanding of the time.
