I'm glad to announce that this Wednesday, August 14th we'll be streaming the game on Twitch.tv
You'll see the current version of the game and hear comments from Albert 'Loft' Zhiltsov and me, Andrey 'Zak' Shumakov.

The stream starts in 16:00 GMT.

Dear all, this is the very first stream that we're making, and it will be in Russian. Sorry for inconvenience. The next stream will be in English. And this one will be published on YouTube later this week with all the conversations transcripted into video captions in English

That's GMT, need to take BST into account, we're usually 8 hrs behind UK, so the actual time will be 8am PST.

True, they said GMT, but if they launch at 16:00 GMT and it matches the real time in the UK with daylight savings time (British Summer Time) then it will be 8am, if not it will be 9am. Either way, at least for me I will be at work .

 

They need to dump this whole backward and archaic daylight savings rubbish imho lol.

im Sure, its they first Livestream so they are testing stuff etc, so I think they will provide a password when the day come. do not worry

GMT is always GMT. It never changes. Goes hand in hand with UTC (Coordinated Universal Time, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordinated_Universal_Time ). BST(British Summer Time) is GMT +1. California is currently not PST (GMT -8), but PDT (GMT -7). So, in your example, California and London are always 8 hours apart....but they are not always the same time away from GMT/UTC.

 

20 years in the US Navy, I've crossed a timezone/dateline or two in my day..

 

Your way will get you there an hour early..so you won't miss anything. 

 

And I wholeheartedly agree with you...they need to just do away with the whole daylight savings thing...

Generally Italy is GMT +1

 

At the moment it's plus 1 due to DST, so the answer is GMT +1 +1 = 18:00 h Italy time
