After the excellent update of previous friday... what can we get this time devs? any little clue?

Hoping for convergence adjustability/fixes. Anything else for me is frosting on the cake.

My guess is multiplayer optimisation and working gauges, since both of those things took a knock after the last update. 
Complex engine management will probably be in there too, since that wasn't in last week's update.

 

My hope: A Bf 109 G6.... no no no, sorry; convergence would be nice, as would a few graphical enhancements.

Honestly, after the last update and the amount of work it took to get it to us, I wouldn't mind a week of only minor fixes or nothing at all.

 

That being said, there are of course things I hope for:

 

1. The first taste of the campaign mode.

 

2. New multiplayer missions with objectives in line with what Syndicate is trying out currently.

 

3. The new engine modeling (hopeful that it includes some engine DM tweaks as well)

 

4. FM revisions that adress the negative G behavior in German fighters and the Fw 190 lack of power/climb rate.

 

5. Full implementation of radio comms.

 

6. Convergence implemented (along with a fix for the Fw 190s shells falling low)

 

7. Now that we've got the full startup procedure modelled, it would be nice to have the opportunity to press the buttons ourselves. (not gonna happen, I know)

 

8. AI tweaks to make bombers keep formation better and stop fighters' Kamikaze attacks on bombers.

 

9. A glimpse into the future of BoS after release (new planes/maps/campaigns in the works, summer/spring/autumn textures, deeper levels of simulation etc.)

 

10. World peace.

#6b please. I am so tired of using the lower tic on the sight for my convergence point.

 

And I'm surprised by # 4b. Don't you fly mostly Soviet? Don't want my Fw to close-in or run away more efficiently do you?  ;)

I want the FMs to be as accurate as posible. That's all.

All I would wish for myself, is a little more single player content... and maybe some QMB and AI behavior fixes.

Convergence and fuse settings would be great.

I'd most like right now for the navigator//front nose-gunner to be able to activate the bombardier sight though.

After the effort the devs put in last week, I'd be happy enough without an update this week. We've got plenty of new stuff to explore.

Nurses, booze, and cigars on base after successful missions? :P

 

Cannot wait for single/campaign missions to be re-introduced...I can't tell you how fun it was seeing the Stukas roll, and attack as I furiously chased them down; damn that was fun!

Along with World Peace, I'd like one thing sorted- the bloomin' gunner control issue.

 

The sim needs a very simple control menu that allows for mouse control of the gun that works while the player is using trackIR. There are too many steps required to switch to the gunner and get the gun in action. The crew would do this naturally, like an auto engine startup. Since this is a sim that allows you to artificially switch positions, employing the gun should be quicker.

 

Too many folks are having really issue just trying to map their controls to move and fire the gun in a usable manner. Me included.

World peace does not sell our product, sorry to be the bad guy here :D

 

On a serious note:

 

Bug fixes would be fine with me. I'd like to play again and see how this game evolves with the HE111 as a fellow bomber in the sky. Guess I have hopes to be left alone in the Stuka now :D

Personally I would like to see a rework of the bullet tracers.

 

Convergence would also be great.

Further optimisation in MP and complete removal of (still very noticable and ugly) blur on plane shapes in clouds and on clouds and horizon...

Hopefully some of Tarentenko's single missions will make it into the game tomorrow along with some polishing of the QMB and a.i. behaviour.

I no longer see the planes against the clouds problem. I play on ultra is that the difference or am I just lucky (or blind)?

I believe its still there. Not as extreme as we had it a few patches ago but still from high up observed planes do look as if flying into clouds when in fact they are above.

When the plane has a certain distance to the clouds it remains visible. Problem only seems to appear when the plane is in close proximity to cloud volume.
