Reasons for losing an online dogfight

It's true. Though there should also be a pie slice for "Wounded by AA before the fight"

Totally wrong of course. 75% percent should be "plane is overmodelled", 24,5% "low fuel/field mods/premium ammo" and 0,5% "other"  :)

My primary reference were ROF and Il2, don't remember anyone complaining about fuel in WT actually.

Having no track IR is no excuse for being a poor pilot. Been flying flight sims for 10 years and never touched a head tracking device.  But then again I'm not a dogfighter, I kill my opponents 'Hartmann' style.

I think, we should get a good 15% of "cheating" in the mix too. ;)

Nahh, only Flying Circus regulars accuse people of cheating. (In RoF.)

I think at least 10% should be allocated for avoidable collisions (completely the other guys fault, of course.)

Cowardly-gay-Spad should be in there somewhere.

Lack of skill or the other on is better: at least in RoF, since there are no Oleg' Spitfires here  :P

You forgot to add that if the developer is Gaijin and the plane is Russian on any tier you will die. I got one shotted by a Chaika in my P-47D-25-NA.

Whoa...where's the "your plane is under modeled" figure? We all know some planes just don't match up to their performance figures/pilot anecdotes/whatever yet some of us gluttons for punishments still fly 'em. ;)

Reasons why I lose a dogfight ?

Case 1: I'm in the better plane.

Reason: I'm in the cockpit.

Case 2: I'm in the worse plane.

Reason: I'm in the cockpit.

A better question here would be: How do 4 ShKAS machine guns, adjusted for convergence, firing @ 1800 RPM, hit something the size of an airplane with only one round?

The answer is: Gaijin is bad @ realism. And a few other things :P
