Benchmarking BOS with Fraps

I have made a little test with fraps using one of my record tracks with the last patch with diferent settings: Balanced, High and Ultra.

My GPU: HD 6970 2GB.

 

Excellent performance in Balanced (really it´s a dream flying this sim when it run smooth )but some irritating stutters in High and Ultra (to much difference in fps here with Balanced, maybe some problem with ati cards? )

Do not worry it is the same thing with Nvidia cards. In Ultra settings and in some phases of the game there is stutter! In heavy games (with many planes) I go also down to "balanced" settings.

ATI cards of older generations (I have the same) have a tendency to stutter. It's not just BOS. Lower resolutions, not using ssao, limiting framerate and other such tricks may help. Others say using radeonpro or another graphic tweaker to turn off AMD optimized tesselation and leaving it up to the game engine helps.
