Should the BF-110 and variants be included in the game?

I would love it all now but let the game stand on it on feet now, develop more now and after release. Once stable put out some reasonably priced aircraft DLC for us to enjoy and just buy what we want extend the life of the game with more content later. I enjoy new content as time goes on.

Absolutely for additional aircraft. 

 

However I'm prepared to pay for additional content and would prefer the devs focus on finishing the game first.

Not actually in favor of it for this release. I'd like to see them focus on releasing a really polished sim and get really outstanding reviews on it. Build up a rabid dedicated following then add aircraft, maps, objects and bomber targets to the next release. If the question was, "Do you want to see the Bf 110 in the next release?" My answer would be a resounding yes.

With a tear in my eye I voted for "nay".

The bf110 is my favourite ride in CLoD, so would love to see it over the eastern front.

But I would rate the mission builder as a higher priority than additional aircraft at this stage.

Umm, there were La-5s all over the place at Stalingrad, before and during the timeframe simulated by BOS.

Going with the battle of Moscow, an earlier model Bf-109, Bf-110, I-153 and MiG-3 are basically guaranteed. If they went for Crimea/Kuban, then the Bf-110, Yak-9, P-40 and P-39 are almost certain. And if they decide to flesh out Stalingrad first (possibly with a summer/fall map), then the Yak-9 and Bf-110 are almost guaranteed. In any case, the Bf-110 is coming. It is inevitable unless they do something completely random and decide to go with some part of the Pacific war instead. The Ju-88 is also a very likely early addition as it fits everywhere much like the Bf-110.

I've been supporting 777 since RIse of Flight was released, I've bought everything available for that sim and have been more than satisfied with the BOS development and wouldn't hesitate to continue that support with what ever planes/maps etc were released i the future. I love it!

A mission builder similar to the one in 1946 or COD would be my priority request. Then the sky would be the limit as we could replicate our own missions and I reckon this feature would ensure the longevity of the sim like 1946.

For the Release I am satisfied with the plane line up.

 

Let them concentrate in doing what makes up for the game longevity - community tools aka. mission editor and modding tools.

 

After that is released bring out the plane packs.

 

And yes 110 is a definite buy for me when it reaches the store.

I would be more than happy and willing to part with money for the BF-110 and JU-88 varients, amonst other aircraft.

However I would also be super-happy if the developers continued with what they have right now and focus on the game mechanics.

Bf 110 with all availabel weapon attachments is a mut have. Basicly the most important Luftfwaffe Schlachtflugzeug at the Eastern front before arrival of the Hs 129. Could be fun to wreck tanks with 37mm guns while outrunning IL-2s with ease

Speaking of which this would also be just as important to me. Somehow the duck has it's charme.

 

Apart form that biplanes as light fighters and ground attackers could be rly fun adding osme "RoF feeling" to BoS. Namely the Hs 123 and I-153 with rockets and bombs could be very interesting planes to add.

Yes I recall the Bf-110 inclusion along with the I-16 being mentioned, but AFTER the game is complete as add-ons, along with a whole shedload of other aircraft and maps with any luck. First priority though is to obviously get the game out and I should imagine that is their rightful priority right now.

But if we get addtional planes, the Bf 110 would probably be on top of the list anyway. Very popular, multi role, could be very useful in BoS and other theatres and no real alternative to it (unless for a possible 1944/45 scenario). The question is which/how many variants they would add.

That shouldn't be an issue. The C models were quickly retired form service after their Battle of Britan debut and most units on eastern front were equiped with the F models. The G was heavily used as a nightfighter and eventually didn't participate in the Battle of Stalingrad (pls correct me if I'm mistaken).

 

I already have a nice skin for the 110 in mind of the Dackelgeschwader unit. One of them is exhibited at the German Technical Museum in Berlin

My vote on 'No need to rush' Doesn't mean I don't want it as soon as possible.. but they have a lot on their hands for quite some time to come I would imagine.
I would pay for it today if they promised that it will come out in the coming year (well not today, since I'm totally broke atm, but in a week). One of my favorite planes of all time! Looks really mean, and you don't want to be in front of it when it unleaches it's lead! (unless you are in a fast fighter, and run circles around it)

.. and also a reason i voted 'No Rush' is that the 'yes' option have too many planes added to it.. sure I want them all,and will buy them all. But the BF-110 takes place as #1 I would like to have added to current set. so it's no rush.. but I want it sooner or later
