MadkiteMadkite Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) Will keep this short and sweet as you are all very busy. Simply add the external locked to enemy view. Or in the old IL2 F6 key. More casual players will appreciate this a lot as its one of the best view features of the old IL2. And perhaps more messages about damage and engine mismanagement as well as telling you when you have fathered the prop or set it to manual. That kind of thing as you can't always tell if the buttons work. Oh and one last quick thing. In the controls setup there is no warning if you accidentally try to assign the same button to two different functions as there was with the old IL2. This is quite annoying in a game with this many controls as its easy to do. Love the game so far. Keep it up. Edited August 25, 2014 by MadkiteMadkite

" When you assign your controls if they are any that are duplicated you will see a little orange box in the corner of the command panel, hover your mouse pointer over it to find out what other control has been assigned. "Simply add the external locked to enemy view. Or in the old IL2 F6 key." Not exactly sure what you mean here but in the camera control options you have camera padlock enemy air/friendly air and others. You can assign a control to them, when the assigned button is pressed it will snap to enemy/friendly if they are in range, remember to have "allow spectators" enabled in the options. Hope this helps, Mick.
MadkiteMadkite Posted August 25, 2014 Author Posted August 25, 2014 Perhaps you can do it. Will try later. But in the original IL2 by pressing F6 you would be in outside view on your aircraft with the camera locked on the enemy aircraft going from nearest to farthest with each press. You could do the same with ground targets too.
MadkiteMadkite Posted August 25, 2014 Author Posted August 25, 2014 Got it working. Didn't have padlock enabled.
