Chuck_Owl Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 A Battle of Stalingrad multiplayer session. Now that the Heinkel He-111H-6 has finally joined the ranks of the Luftwaffe (at the cost of many 777 employees' sleeptime, for which I am grateful), it is now time to grow a pair and get back into the bombing business. This was the first time I flew the He-111. Ever. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous. JimTM, OneEyedDog and Chuck wing up together for a nailbiting bombing run in the skies of Stalingrad. With a crew of 5, the Heinkel feels heavy, clunky and yet very much alive. The duration of the bombing mission was about 50 minutes. We were lucky enough not to meet any resistance. But next time, I am definitely sure that the enemy fighters will be hunting for us.
Flying_Colander Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Chuck, Thanks for the video. He 111 looks great. Tell me what was the cello piece you used to score your clip? Very beautiful. Flying Colander
354thFG_Leifr Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 There is some fine use of the Rains of Castamere in there, it's possibly the section you're enquiring about. It's from the Game of Thrones HBO show, and usually suggests something awful is about to happen.
Chuck_Owl Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) Thank you both for commenting. It's always appreciated. I thought the Lannister theme corresponded well with such a menacing, powerful plane. The music used in my videos is always listed in the video description and in the credits at the end. In this video, for instance: Music: The North Remembers - Game of Thrones Season 4 OST (by Ramin Djawadi) Two Swords - Game of Thrones Season 4 OST (by Ramin Djawadi) Mereen - Game of Thrones Season 4 OST (by Ramin Djawadi) The Children - Game of Thrones Season 4 OST (by Ramin Djawadi) Edited August 27, 2014 by 71st_AH_Chuck
=LD=Hethwill Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Nice vid. Simple yet showcases the 111 workhorse. Beautiful display of the entrails of the bird and overall a good mood on the run.
Flying_Colander Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Thanks for the reply guys. Ramin Djawadi has scored some giant projects such as Pacific Rim, Iron Man and Medal of Honor. No slouch he. FC
