gn728 Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Hey all - recently went from XP to Win 8. Installed the newer version of the SST programming software. Now, even though I unchecked the "latched" box I can't seem to assign any keys to the pinkie switch in the X-52 Pro. Like to use that with F12 to center Trak IR
giffage Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I've got a 52 also. Pinkie doesn't work on BOS for me too!
VBF-12_Snake9 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 As far as I know the Pinkie is latched or unlatched. You cannot assign a button to it. (At least in my software). Maybe your thinking of the clutch button?
gn728 Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 Nah - pinkie switch - I had it programmed to F12 in the XP setup I just upgraded to Win 8. Older SST software. IL2/46, ROF, OFF, didn't have BOS turned on yet 'cause I was 32bit. My understanding with newer software was if you uncheck the "latched" box you can program - but so far no go - so both clutch button and pinkie are now useless.
VBF-12_Snake9 Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I have mapped the clutch, in the software as a keystroke. The pinkie never. I don't even know why you would want to map the pinkie as one button. The whole purpose is to get 30 plus more buttons by using it as designed. 1 button. . . 30 buttons. . . I choose the 30 please.
gn728 Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 I liked it as a centering button for Trak IR - don't care about 30 buttons...(personal choice)
