This is more of a question than anything else.

Apart from any issues with the joystick setup in the game, I'm a lefty, so the choice of joysticks is fairly limited - that's my excuse anyway ;-).

That being the case, I'd also like to have a setup process that allows stick sensitivity to be more closely modelled on reality.

However, I'd like to know if the devs intend improving the current setup prior to release? I personally don't think it is currently adequate - near,

but not near enough, and I'd like to see a setup a little like IL2 Forgotten Battles, which can be tweaked to suit.

Right now my enjoyment of the game is seriously hampered by having to use the pre-set sensitivities; yes, I know we can all use the existing

setup, but that is not my point.

Being a lefty myself I think the best thing i did was teach my self to use a hotas right handed.

I may not be quite understanding your post, can you elaborate a little on what you mean my control settings modeled more realistically, and pre-set sensitivities?

That s the way to go, check an Airbus cockpit. Lefty would make perfect captain :)

I'm right handed and I use my left hand to control the stick.

The reason for this is that I don't have trackIR, so I use the mouse to look around, I found it easier to control a stick with my left hand than to control a mouse with my left hand.

Aside from that I also use my right hand for engine management and other gimmicks.

Flying with my left hand is obviously a bit less precise than with my right hand, so for the final alignment and for takeing the shot I use both hands (just a few seconds, so no looking around or engine management).

The TM1600 has an exchangeable part wich you can use to make it adequate for your left hand.
