Feathered_IV Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 I think a standalone He-111 transport variant would be best in the long run for the developers. A simple load-out option to the existing aircraft would have a negative impact on sales of the Ju-52. Plus a dedicated transporter Heinkel would be a useful source of extra revenue and entirely optional for the fighter-only players.
Royal_Flight Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 An unlock/mod might be better as I don't know if many would pay for a third Heinkel. What we really need though is more servers and missions for transport a/c to fully integrate them. Gambit21's Pelicans over Moscow campaign looks killer and it's been on my to-do list since it was released (persuaded a mate to get the Ju-52 off the back of them but haven't actually flown the missions yet) but I'm looking forward to getting stuck in. And I know it's been said loads before, and in my time lurking on this forum I've heard all the arguments for and against, but a similar transport for the VVS would be great to have. And if a lend-lease C-47 then that could be used in the Pacific too, when we get there.
hames123 Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 I think that they should make the He111 carry supplies for free, honestly, if we had to pay for that then that would be the first time that the devs have milked us for cash for no reason, since they already sold the Ju52.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it "milking us for no reason" since we'd have the choice of whether to purchase or not. I would...in a heartbeat. It should be a 'relatively' easy job too. Some changes to the internals, paste the cargo drop functionality from the Ju-52. Still, they don't have the luxury of putting this time in for no return...budget is too tight for that.
tailwheel Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Maybe it's just all the practice I get, having been married for the last twenty years. You get to a point were you're just grateful you can remember , at the end, what you where trying to imagine in the first place. what it is brother. I hear ya.
