I know the swastika on German planes might be a problem in some countries but will there be something allowed to enable it from a third-party? I have not bought the sim yet. Also does the sim have ground troops? I found it nifty when attacking ground targets in the old Il-2 games how the figures used to run from trucks.

The Russian Federation introduced a law against "spreading national-socialist propaganda" back around 2009. Unfortunately they forgot to include a detailed description what counts as such and because of that legal insecurity 1C decided to omit the swastika from any of its future titles just to be on the safe side. As such there is no way to "enable it", it would have to be added via skins.

Annoying as it is, better safe than sorry. If they invested all this work then had the game banned for spreading national-socialist propaganda, that would be a crying shame.
