Imur6 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 4770k, R9 290x. I think my PC isn't problem as there hasn't been no issue with other games (War thunder, DCS lock on..) But on this game, Anti-Aliasing won't work. I set my resolution to 2560x1440 and AA to 4X. but the canopy and plans looks very grainy. Is this beause this game still under the develop ?
Urra Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Game is made for 1920x1080 I believe. At 2560 no AA is needed for me. Make sure it is set for Ultra quality preset?
Imur6 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Posted August 24, 2014 Even though 2560 resolution, there is big difference between AA on and off. Actually, the Plane graphic of Warthunder is very authentic and natural, but In this game, somewhat grainy. I can see this symptom especially on the front sight which is located in next to the gyro cross hair, when I zoom it
DD_Arthur Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 As roaming-gnome says; make sure you have selected the ultra graphics preset.
Imur6 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Posted August 24, 2014 As roaming-gnome says; make sure you have selected the ultra graphics preset. Set to Ultra ,of course. thanks for remniding
Tab Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 do you use any sweetFX or other sort of injection? Also set the driver settings in the catalyst control panel to default - to use the game settings in AA. Last thing you can try and it will work - force adaptive multisampling AA via the catalyst. It works better than the built-in AA. Only downside are the blurry fonts.
FuriousMeow Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 AA works very well. Not an issue. If you are using AA through nvidia cp, that won't work.
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 You can turn off AA in game and use better ( performance ) settings with Nvidia Inspector. With 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling looks even better for me. ps. This is for Nvidia GPU
