External View with Track IR

I have posted on this a few months ago, and wanted to just mention it again.

 

I really would like the ability to pan my external view with Track IR. I know some other flight sims that have this, and find it very beneficial, certainly easier than panning around with a POV Hat.

 

For Track IR users that would prefer to use the Hat, one could just pause the Track IR and then use the POV hat to pan the external view. Or perhaps make it a selectable option.

 

Anyway, just wanted to express my desire for that - I really miss having that ability in BOS.

I actually don't like that I think CLOD does that bugs me, difficult for me to pan from external POV, Just me I guess, Prefer it be an option as well, but like it as it is now.

I like the hat control method in external view.

 

It would be great if they add option for TrackIR for external view though.

+1. I usually map my coolie hat to other things (zoom, flaps, etc) so being able to use the TiR externally would be excellent

I prefer the CLOD option: I very much dislike using TrackIR for panning external views.
