Dagger Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Hey everyone. Upgraded to a new PC and bought BOS and COD with TF 4.312. I can max out all settings and maintain great FPS (both around 80FPS), but on CLOD I noticed when I get damaged, my windows will shatter but don't get any damage on the wings even though I get notified of aileron damaged. the only visible damage is to window. External view will show leaks but no window or structural damage. I have seen pics of people's plane riddled with holes both from internal and external views. Am I missing something in the settings?
Tektolnes Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Probably better off asking technical queries around CloD + TF patches here: http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/ I think that the visible damage from .303 rounds was dialled back to help with FPS but they're looking at ways to bring them back in with the next major TF release. I think anyway - have a vague recollection reading this somewhere.
Dagger Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 sorry forgot to mention, I only fly RAF so far. I just played a QM and let the JU88 riddle me with bullets. Only visible damage to my plane was the windshield. wings and rest of plane untouched. External cam doesn't show any damage. I have decals set to high. All settings are maxed.
JG4_DUI Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Hi Dagger, that you do not see any damage on your plane is weird. This definitely is not the way that it is supposed to be! Sadly, I cannot provide you a solution. As Tektolnes proposed visit ATAG forum and post your issue there. I bet that someone will point you into the right direction in no time!

Been checking all options and really have no idea why that could be happening.
