MarcoRossolini Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Alright, not really, but worth a look none the less, particularly given its views on strategic bombing. (And US propaganda, it really hasn't changed much...) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rzLHyuQL5s On the other hand, can you imagine being a young US bomber crewman going out to see this film in 1943 just before going to Britain to do what this film promised and then coming across what the reality really was for the bombers "who'd always get through"? 5
Finkeren Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Pretty damn cool. They just don't make propaganda like they used to. 4
TyphoonOneB Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I always find it fascinating how they used to teach this and show this to kids!
Cybermat47 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Thanks for sharing, MarcoRossolini! Here's another Disney propaganda film, this one about a child in Nazi Germany: http://youtu.be/D8bCuNiJ-NI
SeriousFox Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Never knew that Disney made film like this.. Interesting.
Finkeren Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) Never knew that Disney made film like this.. Interesting. You've never seen "Der Führers Face"?!?? The only Donald Duck cartoon to ever win an Oscar? Edited August 23, 2014 by Finkeren 1

WWII stuff is pretty much the same as Hollywood movies today ......
Rjel Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 WWII stuff is pretty much the same as Hollywood movies today ...... Thank goodness we get all the great Canadian films here too as a counter balance. Disney made a ton of WWII era documentaries aimed at helping the war effort.
