whereisoleg Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 In bright daylight muzzle flashes are hardly seen. Viewing some of the videos I still see them. The Devs should make them more realistic.

Your nose guns have flash hiders to prevent the flash being seen to the rear. Your wing cannon are below you line of sight and wouldn't be seen anyway. Both should be seen by oncoming aircraft and will be brighter as the ambient light lessens over the day and into night. A single rifle caliber round probably wouldn't be seen but a stream of machine gun fire and cannons would. You should be able to see them in a recording and not from the cockpit.
