Matt Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Well, i've used the Rift quite a bit in Elite Dangerous and never felt the need to look at the keyboard and i never look at the joystick/throttle anyway to find the buttons (with or without Rift). But there are all kinds of rumours that the final Rift will have a camera, so that you can see everything that's on the other side.

No you are right.......101 times better But true with Team Fusion CLOD is good but the FM is much better already in BOS in my opinion. Beside Team Fusion is a mod so you can't really compare it with BOS. I have always been a big fan of ROF, and BOS is just as good if not better. So It works in RoF, but its kinda jenky. it links the mouse look function so its not very realistic. and the zoom level needs tweaking. BoS the splash screen loads, but then revernts back to standard mode. I've talked to jason and he realy wants it to happen so it will, when its ready. besides the DK2 is still not combat flight sim ready. Im sure the CV will get us there.

There is many ways to play BoS and RoF , set up few missions in QMB , with Icons or not , and fly for fun. I can only imagine Heinkel being a blast in OR. Not being able to see gauges without leaning in is not a problem in my opinion, so far you can fly most of the planes without studying gauges constantly , plus we have on screen display for speed,height and rads. I managed cold starts in Mustang and Dora in DCS , I also shotdown a Mustang in OR (without icons). I am pretty sure we could have tons of fun in DK2 even with it's current limitations. S.
