IIN8II Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 (edited) I'm curious as to what the new complex engine update will entail. Can someone with more insight than me elaborate? Cheers, IIN8II Edited August 15, 2014 by IIN8II
Leaf Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 You need to hand-crank the inertia starter yourself. :D 1
HagarTheHorrible Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 You need to hand-crank the inertia starter yourself. :D You just know that would have been oh so much fun on a nice cold Russian winters day. I suspect a lot of German pilot casualties might actually have been pissed off ground crew who couldn't understand why the highly trained monkey in the cockpit was still having problems after several attempts Pilot - " Sorry lads, I'm super sure it will start this time......... honest" Chief mechanic - " Where's my bloody gun *$$$$*****$****$$$$"
Jade_Monkey Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 You need to hand-crank the inertia starter yourself. :D Saitek and Thrustmaster are already coming up with the USB version of the hand-crank. It will be easily synchonized with the rest of your devices and current profiles.

I've got a very nice, old fashioned, pencil sharpner, just like teacher used to use, thankyou very much.
Requiem Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Maybe it's related to some of the, currently automatic, German stuff?
BeastyBaiter Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Radiator control for the 109's is a given I think. Hopefully they'll also do something about the silly engine self destruct timers on German planes. They seem very place holder-ish. Hopefully I'm right on that.

Yes, "OK, last attempt; I'm sure it'll work this time!" By the looks of it, those hand cranks are damn hard work too. Edited August 15, 2014 by LeafyPredicament
RDW Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 You think they'll add the starter whine back to the 109 before release?
