-TBC-AeroAce Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I'm not shooting down trip screens and their users but as soon as vr gets the resolution these kinda setups surely will become irrelevant. Unless people using them start to get rsi
Beazil Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 They are relevant for the more natural field of view. Until we start to see ultra wide screen it's the best you can currently get. And yes I also await vr with anticipation. Can't wait for more occulus news.

Unless people using them start to get rsi I reckon many get triple screens because outside of gaming they're a god-send for pretty much any computer-related work. At least I feel better knowing that I'm not forking out hundreds of bucks solely on entertainment. 1

At least I feel better knowing that I'm not forking out hundreds of bucks solely on entertainment. I know I got triples as 50% gaming and 50% for the work I do, it is so much more productive to have one screen with PDF's of lighting plans, one with the program for creating all the paperwork and the third for email, Chrome for referencing manuals, Vectorworks etc... so much better than a single or two monitor setup.
I./JG68_Sperber Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 i need triple screens 100% for working and websurfing.... and 0% for BoS gg
LLv34_Untamo Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 (edited) S! Using single (BIG) monitor with head tracking works for me. Edited October 17, 2014 by LLv34_Untamo
Snacko Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 BoS is 'completed', but it still doesn't work on multi-monitors. And it looks like they won't fix it: http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/2074-game-setup-and-settings-faq/ "21) Does the game feature triple screen compatibility? No, it doesn't "

Jade_Monkey Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I have a single screen but it's a 21:9 aspect ratio screen, so it's sort of in the middle between having a single and getting a more immersive experience
AvengerSeawolf Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I like simple stuff , one screen, I believe it would be great to play this game or a combat flight sim in general in a bug screen. let's say above 28 inches, a 32 would be a good choice. Perhaps I get a TV monitor in that size and try it out.
slicker55 Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Hi Guys, My first post here so please go gentle on me! I have read this thread with interest as I am thinking about adding BOS to my library of flight sims. As you will see from my signature, I have a triple screen AMD 'eyefinity' set-up (5760x1080) and a touchscreen (1920x1080) for Helios profiles. My setup works great with other flight sim titles like DCSW, IL-2 (1946) and IL-2 (CLOD) Quick question... Does the latest version of BOS fully support triple screens at my resolution yet?
Snacko Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Yes M8! There were problems when it was I supposed beta, that was worked out a long time ago. Works fine on my triple screen. Snack
slicker55 Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Hi Guys, Pulled the trigger on a good price for a steam key last night and now have it working. Like you said in your email (Snacko) triple screens are supported with a drop-down list of supported resolutions. Just assigning controllers and thinking about essential keyboard bindings to get some metal off the ground and into the air! (feel another Helios profile coming on)... hahahahhaha
DD_Arthur Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 (feel another Helios profile coming on)... hahahahhaha Good luck with that one slicker.
Snacko Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=303117111 There are a lot of good tutorials out there. Also good, short pdf guides (like the DCS Charly Owl guides).
Blooddawn1942 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Since today I'm a proud owner of a triple screen setup. Whow! Never thought that that this could make so much of a difference. Been flying for three hours with my new setup and there is absolutely no way back! Just awesome.
