I'm not shooting down trip screens and their users but as soon as vr gets the resolution these kinda setups surely will become irrelevant. Unless people using them start to get rsi

They are relevant for the more natural field of view. Until we start to see ultra wide screen it's the best you can currently get.

And yes I also await vr with anticipation. Can't wait for more occulus news. :)

I reckon many get triple screens because outside of gaming they're a god-send for pretty much any computer-related work. At least I feel better knowing that I'm not forking out hundreds of bucks solely on entertainment.

I know I got triples as 50% gaming and 50% for the work I do, it is so much more productive to have one screen with PDF's of lighting plans, one with the program for creating all the paperwork and the third for email, Chrome for referencing manuals, Vectorworks etc... so much better than a single or two monitor setup. :)

Using single (BIG) monitor with head tracking works for me.

I have a single screen but it's a 21:9 aspect ratio screen, so it's sort of in the middle between having a single and getting a more immersive experience

I like simple stuff , one screen, I believe it would be great to play this game or  a combat flight sim in general in a bug screen. let's say above 28 inches, a 32 would be a good choice.

Perhaps I get a TV monitor in that size and try it out.

Hi Guys,

My first post here so please go gentle on me!

I have read this thread with interest as I am thinking about adding BOS to my library of flight sims.

As you will see from my signature, I have a triple screen AMD 'eyefinity' set-up (5760x1080) and a touchscreen (1920x1080) for Helios profiles.

My setup works great with other flight sim titles like DCSW, IL-2 (1946) and IL-2 (CLOD)

Quick question...

Does the latest version of BOS fully support triple screens at my resolution yet?

Yes M8!

There were problems when it was I supposed beta, that was worked out a long time ago. Works fine on my triple screen.

Hi Guys,

Pulled the trigger on a good price for a steam key last night and now have it working. Like you said in your email (Snacko) triple screens are supported with a drop-down list of supported resolutions. Just assigning controllers and thinking about essential keyboard bindings to get some metal off the ground and into the air! (feel another Helios profile coming on)... hahahahhaha :)

Since today I'm a proud owner of a triple screen setup. Whow! Never thought that that this could make so much of a difference.

Been flying for three hours with my new setup and there is absolutely no way back! Just awesome.
