Yes, it was patched up to V1.2.

I hate to show my stupidity but where is the nuggest's guide?Also I guess it doesn't matter because I have Windows 7 and it won,t install.

No biggy cause I have the Gold edition of IL2 Forgotton Battles with the ETO expansion pack, and so far it works great.

Nugget's Guide

 

1946 will install fine on W7 .. you just can't install it in Programs.. Crerate a folder on your C drive called Games or something luke that and install it there it will work fine.. If you can get 1946.. it is a much better product.. It can be had for $10 ore less in some cases and it is well worth it even of you have the FB Gold ..

thankyou for the reply ,I'am new to this forum and as usual got confused.

As I said I have IL2 Gold edition and it's on an external 2TB hd but the oridginal IL2 won't install. No biggy I'll just have to be content with the Gold edition which I think has everything the oridginal IL2 has I will check around though for the 1946 edition though.
