SgtDinkyDuck Posted November 22 Posted November 22 My velocity one rudder pedals recently rapidly deconstructed so I purchased the Honeycomb Charlie Rudder pedals. I am having a heck of a time getting the sim to map them. Toe brakes do not work at all, and yaw will map to the rudder pedals, but I cannot adjust any curves on it them any help would be appreciated. Windows does see all 3 of the axis (toe brakes and pedals) All of my other flight sims recognize them, just not this one. Thanks in advance.
SgtDinkyDuck Posted November 23 Author Posted November 23 Update, not sure how I managed to get things partially working, but now I have rudder set and working. I however do not have left or right toe brakes working though. IL2 does not see them at all. Windows has each axis listed as Xaxis is left toe brake, Yaxis is Right toe brake, and Z is rudder left and right. Not sure where to go from here.
SgtDinkyDuck Posted November 23 Author Posted November 23 Final update and this one is stupid..... After I went into the Windows control settings for game controllers I noticed that the toe brakes were 100% engaged, and when I pressed in the brake it would go down to 0% so. I went into IL2, held in the toe brake, clicked in the assign slot, then let the brake out and by god it mapped it. So... This is for anyone in the future that has this issue so they dont suffer through the pains I did lol.
Cynic_Al Posted November 23 Posted November 23 It's good to know you found a workaround. On a related note, have you found a solution to that embarrassing scraping sound made by the rudder action?
