As one topic title states "Beating A Dead Horse". Without modeling carrier operations there is no point in belaboring the point. Without carrier operations and the attendant carrier ops cycles for U.S. AND Japanese (both different) only thing youwould have are land based missions with maps specifically oriented to South Pacific.
