Comfort straps

A shout out for Pimax | Studioform Creative who make stuff that makes your headset so much more comfortable.  For my Crystal Super I went for the Apache strap and the rear pad mod and it makes a massive difference.

I agree, the apache strap makes it much more comfortable. I also use the face foam spacer kit to form the face cushion to my face, and the top strap tightens it down so it doesn't move much, if at all. I took off the DMAS speakers since my old VMODA headphones give much better sound. The headphones also cinch down the rear portion of the headset to keep it from moving..

The Pimax comfort top strap can be installed offset to the rear of the HMD and the Pimax center support strap can be threaded through. Then the top strap can be set slightly under the front facial pad. I find this works well and the Studioform Velcro kit can hold the center strap in place to distribute the uplift on the front of the HMD to the Pimax topstrap. After this picture was taken, the rear pad mod was added. VR Optician prescription lenses, and thickest Studioform facial pad, as well.
