Von_Fontlebottom Posted October 24 Posted October 24 I have a friend who has a coffee shop and roasting business. He grew up in the middle east and he was a helicopter pilot (military and I think just a little private piloting) before returning to the US. His family was already based in the US but his father had some role in hospital construction hence the return to the sandier climates. I picked up a helicopter kit during an auction as a sort of tag-along to kits that I actually wanted more (strange to group WWI planes with a Vietnam-era Huey, but it's an iconic aircraft!) I want to make this thing coffee themed and I'm thinking (he has Lebanese heritage) of coming up with some sort of pin-up coffee themed nose-art and "Lebanon Lily" seems like a start. Any other ideas? I'd like to try to convert some of the rocket launchers/miniguns and machineguns (M60's and I think a couple M2 Brownings) into something as well. If anyone can think of any reasonably priced coffee themed accessories that would work for a 1/32 set-up that would be swell. I'm toying with the idea of having some figure model leaning out of the side as though trying to deliver coffee by helicopter. I'm new to models with only a couple simple ones under my belt, so I'd appreciate some vision from some of you who are old hands at this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoJ_KPYHKM0 That's the specific kit that I have. I have everything assembled and primed, but I have not installed the cockpit or put together the two sides with the cockpit between them, so I can still paint everything.
