BaglanBoy Posted Friday at 05:12 AM Posted Friday at 05:12 AM Hi All, Am I right in saying that we could have a Pacific theater campaign sometime in the near future , so how will it pan out ? Will it be progressive, Guadalcanal to Okinawa and the same with American aircraft, F4F , F6F and F4U , Devastator and Dauntless and all of the corresponding Japanese aircraft ?. But with Korea planned could we just get a watered down version of Pacific We all realize that the development team do a fantastic professional job, but even they can only do so much. Cheers

Cheers After Korea is released they will start to work on Pacific as far as I understood, for the Korea "engine". Please have a look to Korea General discussion. But I did not follow the discussions about this topic. example: If you want to make some experiments with Pacific try this: or this (but not both together) And for this mod there is a P39 campaign available with ca. 50 missions: Edited Friday at 07:48 AM by kraut1 1
Aapje Posted Friday at 08:34 AM Posted Friday at 08:34 AM The plan is to first release Korea, then a Carrier DLC for Korea, and then a Pacific module. They are already doing research for that. There is overlap between Korea and the Pacific with regard to carriers and planes, so part of the content for Korea can be reused for the Pacific. They have not published information on what Pacific module they will do first, but my money is on Guadalcanal. I don't expect that they will release the modules in progressive order, but will do the most promising campaigns first. Then based on sales they will decide how many Pacific modules they'll do. 1
BlitzPig_EL Posted Friday at 11:13 AM Posted Friday at 11:13 AM And, none of the Pacific content is in the "near future". 1 1
