Gromyak Posted Friday at 01:01 AM Posted Friday at 01:01 AM Hi, I just picked up this game, and am new to flight sims, so maybe I'm doing something wrong. I've watched lots of videos and googled around, but nothing addresses my problem, which is that after spending hours setting up my various pilot head cameras, my F9 continually stops working, so that I cannot change out of Centered Quick View. This isn't fixed if I hit the F2 key (which works), restart the game, or restart my computer. The only way to fix it is to replace my custom snap view file with the default one, thus losing all of my work. This has happened three times now and is getting extremely frustrating. I'm wondering if something I'm doing is "breaking" my snap view file, because as soon as I replace it with the default one, it starts working again? Not sure if this matters, but here is what I'm using: --so far flying the I-16; --using Smoothtrack and Opentrack for headtracking. --VKB gladiator stick. I would really appreciate some help with this, not sure what to do at this point.
Gromyak Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago I would really appreciate some help with this--the game is hardly playable if I can't get out of centered quick view--I can't stay on the gunsight unless I keep pressing the necessary button, instead of putting me on the gunsight and staying. Also, many of my quickviews work very erratically--sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. Things seemed to work until I turn on headtracking again, after which I can't change view modes, even after turning off head-tracking, restarting the game, etc. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be??
