Wingmen will not drop bombs

Hello.
What is the trick to get wingmen to drop their bombs?   I had them in formation over the target, hit the "attack nearest ground" and they broke formation and didn't drop any bombs.  On the way home we came across a 2-seater, 5 on 1, so I hit the 'attack nearest air' and they didn't attack.  They were flying 'high cover' as I attacked but never fired a shot or dove to attack.

What is the trick to get them to engage?

Same here. Only thing I am sure if this kind of behavior is in iL2 Korea I'm not buying. This bug should have been fixed years ago. I don't remember having this problem in il2 1946.

The AI responding to any order has been problematic for years...

The mission files #8 BIG CHANGES and #9 WITH A REAR GUNNER. It was in the Il2M ICE RING paid campaign. I tried all the commands all my wing men do is hover around watching me being shot down by some German unit.

This has been a common complaint for years.

I noticed it too, but also sometimes they do weirdly enough. 

In the past i found that para dropping with a c47 being successful is influenced by distance from the last waypoint to an attack or attack area command, 

and maybe also with priority for the involved MCUs.
