G'day lads,

37mm Flak 43 and Bofors 40mm are only starting to take aim on my plane within 1000m so they don't even get a shot off. What's a simple way I can get them so they spot me from afar and actually shoot at range please?

The big guns like the 52k and Flak 37 are shooting at longer range.

TIA!

I would combine them with an Attack area / Attack Air Targets.

Actually don’t use an attack area command for maximum range engagement. Instead. trigger a force complete “low” object linked to your AA gun when your enemy aircraft is within 10,000 meters or more and place the gun pointing towards the enemy aircraft. The further away it is, the longer the gun can track the plane.

The Attack area MCU is used to limit the range to a specific area.

Ha, I'll have you know I managed to suss the MCU thingy and now they are firing bofors and 37mm flaks from 3000m out with reckless abandon! Fun watching the tracers fly in I tell ya.
