1CGS LukeFF Posted September 12 1CGS Posted September 12 Hey everyone! Today, we want to showcase the La-11 cockpit in all its textured glory. You can see all the images in 4K detail here: https://il2-korea.com/news/dd_46 25 1 2
[CPT]Crunch Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Not a big fan of Russian props, but must admit that modeling work looks astonishingly good.
Aapje Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Hard to believe that the Russians would put an arm rest in there. Their military designers aren't exactly known for caring much about ergonomics. 1 1
Avimimus Posted September 12 Posted September 12 We've now seen textured art for the exteriors of all* announced aircraft, and textured cockpits for half of them. We're definitely getting closer! *Excluding the F9F (which is suspected to be part of a carrier DLC and has only been informally announced). 2

Looking forward to Carrier Ops, the Panther, Corsair, and hopefully the Skyraider, too. Would love to see an RN Carrier with Sea Furies, and Barracudas on it..... After all, when the Shiznit hits the fan, they always want to know where the nearest Carrier is.... and they did see some of the first sorties of the war. Edited September 12 by Hoss 3
Airborne2001 Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Absolutely amazing. The cockpit glass reflections and the seat details really stood out to me as many people (even today) like to make those "flat", if that makes sense. 2 1
FeuerFliegen Posted September 13 Posted September 13 (edited) Is that an ammo counter on the left side of the cockpit? I thought it didn't have one, but it looks like one to me; it's the two gauges, each read 100 La-11 cockpit Edit- just translated it, and it translates to "ammo remaining" or "cartridges remaining" even though when I looked it up before, I saw it was stated that no ammo counter existed, but I think that was just AI being stupid. Yep! Seems similar to what we have on a Mi-24 for example
S10JlAbraxis Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Amazing work, looks like the real aircraft. Can't wait to fly this! 3
