Starting from 35,000 ft, the engine begins to “overheat” even though the indicated temperatures are normal (I checked during a test flight with the HUD). For some obscure reason, the engine “overheats” and simply seizes after a few minutes. Yet, the V-1650-3 engine specifies a service ceiling of 12,680 m (41,600 ft). overheat in nominal and in combat setting. all temps are good. no freezing engine indicate with HUD just overheat very very weird. it's obviously a bug.
