Bf 109 E-4 career speculation

Hi all,

 

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what the Bf 109 E-4 career may look like when it is released for the Odessa and Leningrad: Siege and Liberation module?

 

Also, would that career most likely be for the Leningrad map?  - Thanks.

Romanians and germans used them in summer 1941 in and around Odessa. As for Leningrad, not that I´m aware of. Maybe E7 Jabos in a Schlacht unit, but not E4s. The Finns had none.

E-4s will be at Leningrad with JG 54's replacement training group, which was employed in frontline action.

I am hoping it will be added to a new or existing series of BoB missions or possibly a new scripted campaign using the Normandy map.🤗

Yes, in the replacement training groups, one staffel was tasked with training and the other for operational combat missions. These were operated by the parent Geschwader until it was decided in 1942 to reorganize training into units that would prepare pilots for the front they were to be assigned to (e.g., Replacement Training Group East).
