RNAS10_Mitchell Posted Friday at 06:38 PM Posted Friday at 06:38 PM That is good news. Any word on the FM revisit/revise that was mentioned many months ago?

tattywelshie Posted Friday at 07:07 PM Posted Friday at 07:07 PM Stone the crows, seriously impressive guys, love it! I can only imagine seeing one of those floating through the skies, and then attempting to bring one down. Can’t wait! 1

SYN_Vander Posted Friday at 08:17 PM Posted Friday at 08:17 PM Great news! This will look awesome in VR! 😁 1
JG4_Moltke1871 Posted Friday at 08:22 PM Posted Friday at 08:22 PM By the way, would it be possible join the gunner stations on the zeppelins?
Aapje Posted Friday at 08:37 PM Posted Friday at 08:37 PM Looks close to done. When is it being released? Soon?
Luftschiff Posted Friday at 08:41 PM Posted Friday at 08:41 PM I NEVER thought I'd see the day. As my profile pic and username will readily attest, nothing could be surer to bring me back into the game. Well played, I say. Well played. 1
BlitzPig_EL Posted Friday at 10:10 PM Posted Friday at 10:10 PM Can't wait to engage one with a Mustang. 3
BMA_FlyingShark Posted Friday at 10:12 PM Posted Friday at 10:12 PM Those Zeppelins and those hangars look impressive. Have a nice day. 1 2
I./JG52_Woutwocampe Posted Friday at 10:37 PM Posted Friday at 10:37 PM (edited) Ok, that will be fun. We will be able to recreate that scene in Indiana Jones 3 Well an older version of it anyway... Edited Friday at 10:41 PM by I./JG52_Woutwocampe 1
FeuerFliegen Posted Friday at 10:45 PM Posted Friday at 10:45 PM Looking forward to seeing if I can use this as an aircraft carrier. 1 1

ST_Catchov Posted Friday at 11:04 PM Posted Friday at 11:04 PM It's a big update alright. The biggliest. Takes me back to Crimson Skies. 🙂 Great work! Looking forward to seeing the damage model .... You are probably aware that by 1917, they were only used in raids on England and for maritime patrols Hint: And the Channel and SE England maps. 🙂
1CGS LukeFF Posted Friday at 11:06 PM Author 1CGS Posted Friday at 11:06 PM "but our pilot career also includes 1916"

We can still depict those raids on the BoN map. I might be jumping the gun here, but something that the devs themselves could have done after BoN before going onto Korea would be doing a FC installment with the Channel Map, slower Entente two seaters, and the Italian Front (something new that is not completely obscure, has picturesque scenery and has assets that players would be familiar with like the SPADs, Nieuports and Camel). That aside, I do wonder if we’ll still get the seaplanes like the Felixstowe? Obviously they won’t be in the Pilot Career but for SP missions and campaigns on the BoN map. Tonester Posted Friday at 11:36 PM Posted Friday at 11:36 PM Impressive!…no great surprise though given what they have already created for us. i know less than bugger all about these machines and cant help but wonder how they werent relatively easy to shoot down being such a big target? Would it just be a matter of one bullet on target and lights out?…or were they a bit tougher than that?

No. Beyond what was talked about today, nothing else is planned for WWI. 1
Crockett Posted yesterday at 12:06 AM Posted yesterday at 12:06 AM Love it! I don't fly every day -- but very time something new like this is announced, I keep checking the IL-2 website for the download to be released! Time to start checking -- can't wait! 1
FeuerFliegen Posted yesterday at 12:35 AM Posted yesterday at 12:35 AM Quote even by the end of the war, mass-produced bombers had a range of less than 500 km. I think the Gotha might be overly efficient then... I've tested it to go over 700km, full throttle, at 2km altitude.

With all due respect to the developers and Ugra Media if the Zeppelin is the last FC aircraft (at least for a long time) then I got to wonder why this was picked when some long requested planes like the BE2c, Caudron G.IV, Albatross C.I, Rumpler C.V and even fan favourites like the Felixstowe were omitted? Is making one of those take longer than the Zeppelin? Sure, the Zeppelin is a cool aircraft and I'll have fun flying my Sopwith Pup and SPAD VII against it, it's just that one of those 5 would have been the better option for the final FC aircraft. 1 1

We're not doing this, going around and around, because you don't like the decisions that were made. This is what has been chosen, and that's final. 1 1
[FLOP]Sesadre Posted yesterday at 04:25 AM Posted yesterday at 04:25 AM wait- we can't even fly it? so it's just an asset that moves around the map on its own. Damn, that's really quite unfortunate. Would a flyable version be possible in the future? please
jollyjack Posted yesterday at 08:50 AM Posted yesterday at 08:50 AM Can't wait making a Goodyear skin for it ... 4
