jollyjack Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Setting up controllers again now with the help of devreorder experiment; With keys you can choose 'new', and add f.i. a button for my warthog set doubling it with a keyboard button. But it seems you cannot double the axis; i would like to double my rudder with an extra axis (DeltaSim mod on my Warthog throttle extra. No 'new 'box here : Any tricks? 2) Impeller, is it important and what button or axis can you recommend on a Warhhog Throttle? Mixture i already assigned to the slider. thnx for looking.

Any tricks? It is not possible to have two different controls for the same axis. They would be in conflict. Imagine that one control would be at its minimal value and the other one at maximum. Which value should be used for setting the axis? 55 minutes ago, jollyjack said: 2) Impeller, is it important and what button or axis can you recommend on a Warhhog Throttle? Mixture i already assigned to the slider. If I'm not mistaken, the impeller is just for the Italian BR.20. It is an auxiliary power source. When your electrical system is down, you can extend the impeller and it will produce electricity. I'm not sure, I'm no BR.20 expert, but I suppose this impeller functionality is not implemented in the game. The impeller key just extends/retracts the impeller. It's just a visual feature. If I'm wrong, hopefully some BR.20 pilot will correct me. Have you read the Getting Started And Troubleshooting Guide? If not, I recommend reading it. There is a lot of useful information there. You can open it through the Manuals option in the main menu. Josef 1 1

No 'new 'box here Yes, this is actually possible if you use a combination of vJoy and Joystick Gremlin. Even though the game itself only allows one physical axis per function, you can merge two separate physical axes into one virtual vJoy axis using Joystick Gremlin. The game only sees the single vJoy axis and has no idea whether the input came from one or both of your real devices. 1
jollyjack Posted September 4 Author Posted September 4 Those joystick tools as vjoy or joystick gremlin al ways confuse me a lot. I just started using devreorder to keep the irritating messing up of my controllers, dunno if that conflicts. My Warthog set works fine with IL2 GB and DCS; afraid they will mess up things there.
