Machine guns sound in Flying Circus

Hi all,
Is it just me, or has the sound of machine guns in FC been toned down since the last update ?

That is my impression as well - I wasn't sure if it was some kind of personal problem. All the gun sounds seem to lack "punch" now, like all the low end was dropped out or something like that.

Same feeling from the cockpit of a Spitfire, so it also affects closed-cockpit aircraft.

Similar notes from Russian-speaking pilots from back when Yak-3 just dropped.

 

So the problem seems to be universal for all aircraft, or rather to have affected the sound design itself.

I confirm that the guns sounds seem to be tuned down. It seems to be a bug.

Yes, something was accidentally changed. It's on the list of things to fix.
