bycomet Posted August 20 Posted August 20 I'm at the altitude of 738m (2388ft) The altimeter has two scales, the outer one shows 10.5 and the inner one shows 65. My speed is 165km/h (102mph). The speedometer's outer scale reads 20.5 and the inner scale reads 18.
1CGS LukeFF Posted August 20 1CGS Posted August 20 As I understand it: For your first image, you want to reference the outer scale most of the time, as it is calibrated for altitude up to 5000 meters at standard atmospheric pressure. For the lower image, it's an anemometer and shows True Air Speed (TAS). The outer scale shows TAS calibrated to (I think) 4000 meters, and the inner scale at 7000 meters. 1
