Game Startup...

Click on the 'Play' button in he launcher screen and the screen goes black. Task Manager says 'IL2 not responding', but the mouse cursor doesnt work so I have to restart from the Task Manager function.

Going to the file location and using IL2.exe instead of Launcher.exe has the same black screen result.

Any ideas from anyone as to what this is and how to fix it?

I have a full fibre connection, RTX 4070 GPU, i7700 CPU Win 10.

 

 

 

 

Edit: Run as Administrator seems to have solved the problem! Still would like to know why it happens though
