YoYo Posted August 8 Posted August 8 (edited) I've been going through all the blog photos of the IL-2 Korea and I'm curious about the external tanks. What was promised for the IL-2 BoX but never actually appeared? Does the IL-2 Korea intend to continue this mistake and ignore the full operation of the fuel system? What about external tanks (and the ability to jettison them)? Especially with jet aircraft, where we know fuel consumption. Β A typical CAP or CAS sortie over Korea almost always external tanks. The combat flight time for the MiG-15 is usually 40 minutes, for the F-86, it's better, around 1.1 hours (but these are situations without external tanks). Therefore, I feel this is quite important. Β Only one screenshot is encouraging. A selection of loadout for the F-51D shows one type of external tank (although it's worth adding that the Mustang used 3 types of tanks mostly): Β Β But what about the rest? Especially the jets? Is this planned? Edited August 8 by YoYo

YoYo Posted August 8 Author Posted August 8 Great news, they're just not in the screenshots, but good to know. Thanks!
